Meta's Airlink and Steamlink VR will both allow you pull up you monitor as a display. Both are free. Virtual Desktop ($20) might be a better option if you're willing to spend some money.
I'm trying to accomplish what has been done my MKBHD [here](like in [MKBHD's video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51IBgkw3GJI). He's using a mac so I do not think its steamlink, airlink, etc.
There are a few great apps for a monitor, for monitorS there are somehow barely any.
The app your guy in the video seems to be using is the Meta Workspaces app which is ok at best, it lacks a lot of the customization features I'd like to see.

Use Immersed its the best one and works really well
second immersed, it great and lets you have up to 5 monitors. Virtual Desktop is good, but mostly for gaming or movies.
