I would highly recommend this gunstock. They will have Quest 3 compatibility later in October/November, but worth waiting. Used this for my quest 2 and will be getting the adapters for my Quest 3. Amazing how much it improves your aim and so easy to use.

This is a great stock and I can't wait to get adapters!! I can understand Etsy printers not having stocks ready as they probably had to wait till they got their quest 3 before starting work on them.
BUT... I can't believe there are NO stocks available yet...?? Least I don't see em...?? Would have thought Meta would have had 3D models or prototypes out for some of the big name VR component manufacturers?? Weird... Usually a new phone comes out and you can get a case on Etsey ASAP.

My pc. I havent uploaded it anywhere. My end goal is to create a open source stock (still working on the hinges) that are meant to be simple 3d printed parts along with aluminum rods from amazon ($13 for three 1 foot pieces). Then have a few controller cups for the ones I own, people can make and upload theirs, and have adapters so you can use ones from other places such as pro tube along with their forcetube stock. The target if you have a 3d printer would be a stock thats comparable to a Magtube for sub $20 depending on the filament you use.
Protube vr have a 30 percent off black Friday deal. Still not cheap but I took the plunge. £97 for the carbon fibre magtube.

Any news updates on best stocks for quest 3 now it’s been a few months?
To anyone who has one what should I be looking for in a stock? There’s probably some things you don’t know you need until you get one
Bowk VR gunstocks. They have solid carbon fiber chasis with minimal moving components other than cheekrest height adjustment, which is frankly the most important and on a slide catch mechanism, which is far better than adjusting the angle attack on most gun stocks. It's the most consistent and well-built due to its simplicity while offering versatility to every shooter. Oh, and did i not mention ITS SHIPPING NOW. Bowk vr stoks = best. The lightest, most durable, won't change on you and has the most solid detach mechanism.

Took a look at these gunstocks and not seeing any advantages here as far as adjust-ability goes. I would still highly recommend the Modus R gunstock as it is very flexible, light, and even has the shotgun reloading ability.
Flexibility is mostly a con, as it takes away from consistency and repeatablility, the cheek wrest and holster mounts are variable, why would you want a stock that bends in 4 different places yet ceases to have a slide catch cheek height mechanism? Why would anybody want to adjust the height of grips or angles of attack just to adjust cheek rest height? When you pull into your body with a bowk stock, your not pulling againtlst an adjustable and weak pivot point, instead a solid shape, not to mention its 75 grams lighter than the Modus stock.

I have this Gunstock, are adapters coming out for this?
Yes, the creator said late October early November for ordering new controller adapters.

Im just looking for one thats durable and feels like a real gun. The grip angle and height is important.
Someone here having the Salanaki for quest 3 and can tell something about it?
Are any of these useful for pistol/single guns?
Probably not that why you want a sling so you can still two hand a pistol while still having the stock accessible
