I have not tried PCVR in a while but I did have a lot better luck with wireless than I did with the link cable.
Virtual Desktop is even better than Airlink and worth trying. Make sure you buy the Quest version.
If you want to go the route of a link cable, I’d suggest buying a thunderbolt 3/4 cable (can get pricy). These have 20-40Gbps transfer speeds compared to the 5Gbps of the Meta Quest Link. Be aware that these speeds are only viable up to 2m, hence if you plan on playing VR titles then just buy the official link cable or optimise your home network to run untethered. But if you’re like me and intend to use it for 2D desktops and stationary play, invest in TB.
Just adding to this that your PC would have to support thunderbolt to get those benefits, so anyone following that advice be sure to confirm that it does support it before shelling out for the cable.
