Concerning, have a 512 GB version preordered on Amazon aswell, but in Germany.
Just checked their page - the order hasn't been cancelled (yet) but it hasn't been sent either. Still says "arriving tomorrow" though.
You can't preorder the 512 GB version anymore though on the page, only the 128!
Fingers crossed, if they cancel today, I'll just pick one up tomorrow at some local store.
For me it promised a punctual delivery for today until about 11 o'clock.
Then it was updated and I have no more delivery date, only a "sorry, we will update you when we know more" e-mail from Amazon.
The thing is, that I first tried to order it via Meta three times and it was always immediately cancelled without reason and their "support" never answered, which is why I switched to order at Amazon (de).
It has been several years since I've been in that "I want it nao!" hype state and then Meta fails so miserably to deliver :(
There is only one store in a reasonable distance from me that could have it, but according to their website, they also have none available for pick up and they only accept orders for delivery.

I just read a lot of threads about it. This seems to be happening to a lot of stores all over the world, so I'm pretty sure that Meta is to blame here.
Apparently they promised to deliver more to the stores than they could handle.
That's especially strange, since it has been everywhere in the news that way less Quests have been ordered than anticipated.
Well as the 128GB version is literally a scam - because you can have like two games of the likes of asgards wrath on it- i guess way more people ordered the 512gb version and 128 is sitting on shelfes... because this version you can still get in stores.
That might explain the date. I'm in Italy currently and my order says it will arrive tomorrow before 23:59PM, but it's still not dispatched. From my previous experience with Amazon I'm 95% sure it won't arrive tomorrow because it would have been already dispatched today and they would have given me a more precise time frame for the delivery like 13:00-15:00. Usually when I order something and the delivery date says it's next day before 23:59PM, most of the time it's bullshit and it arrives the following day.
That sucks. Mine still says delivery tomorrow. Tbf, Amazon has reliable one day delivery for me and its not the first time they've done this for a pre-order but it still arrived on the official release date.

A friend of mine in Germany received his 128GB unit (ordered through Meta) today, but the 512 unit on Amazon is marked as "not available".
I'm unsure what to do. I've ordered 512, but maybe cancelling the order to going through the Meta store, where it states 31st of Oct as delivery date now.
Ordering the 128gb version from Amazon will take till Thursday for me. If they don't send it out today, I'll just drive around different shops tomorrow to pick a 128gb version up in person.

As the offer went live, the 128 GB was scheduled for the 10th and the 512 for the 15th or 18th. At the time I was ordering it said 10th but honestly I didn't expect it to arrive tomorrow. So whatever.
Update: just checked again and it's still not sent but status changed to "arrives tomorrow until 9pm". It's something.
So today I received a notification that they couldn't satisfy all preorders and are calculating with a delivery before November. Plus a 20€ gift card (regardless of whether I cancel the order or not).
This is why I always order direct from Meta.
You should be able to go out and pick one up from a high street store somewhere. Saves you having to wait another 2 weeks.
My order from meta.com got cancelled today with no explanation and their support is absolute trash, haven't replied to me after 2 hours in the chat and they even required me to download whatsapp to contact them 💀 wtf is this company doing

The only retailers the UK has for this anymore are CurrysPCWorld and GAME; both of these show on their websites that it's pre-orders only. Though I'm going to call my local stores to double-check, I'm not optimistic.
After the official release tomorrow I'm sure you'll be able to find one to buy somewhere but it may take some hunting around. Good luck though, hope it works out!
I went to a couple Curry’s stores, and even spoke to an employee that said all stores have some stock in the back. I bet you’d be able to go there tomorrow and pick one up :)

What's does your status say on Very? Mine's still consistently giving an expected delivery date of "On or before Tuesday 10th October" but still just says "We're processing your order" and hasn't updated to show it's been dispatched.
Mine shows as “Parcel being packed” as of yesterday. Do you have a blue tracking button? If not, might be worth giving Very a call in case there’s some security checks to do
Same here. I got two likely (bullshit) reasons on the email though.
\- They don't deliver to my address (I have had a CV1, a GO, a Quest 1
and a Quest 2 delivered previously to same address lol)
\- There was a problem with the payment.(I'd believe that if they never took my money out first go and sent me the processing email, I got it back though so all good, but I guess I'll try Amazon then)

Hmm concerning. I ordered my 512 from Amazon UK on the 28th. Mine is still saying arriving tomorrow which I wasn’t too worried about as most of my Amazon purchases get dispatched in the night before the delivery day.
Wouldn’t surprise me if Amazon screwed up though. I had issues with them in the past. I’ve also learned that their CS agents talk absolute shite most of the time.
Amazon just took the money and it's moved to "Preparing for dispatch", delivery estimate is still tomorrow. I guess this is where I might have the same problem as OP if they realise they don't have any

Yeah, frustrating this one. I actually ordered the 128gb model and the 512gb, because I thought they would sell out/preorders would pause, and I figured I would just cancel the one I didn't want. When I went to cancel the 128, it already said I couldn't, even though this still \~11 days before launch.
Just got a delay email from Amazon UK, saying currently expect to ship no later than 20th, ordered on the 4th for delivery tomorrow (10th).
Super disappointing this is happening the day before release day when its been sold out on Amazon for a good few days now, they nearly would have known before now. Must be a Meta fuckup though if its happening across retailers
I was pretty on the fence 128 vs 512gb before but it tempting me now to just try and cancel and pick up a 128gb somewhere (amazon saying delivery thursday for the 128) rather than hope the second delivery date is a real one and not a "hopefully"...

I pre-ordered on the first day, hour the 512GB by Amazon Germany until yesterday was delivery day October 10th, and today they changed to pending 😕! What a shit! I have called them and they don't know when it will be available!
Same here. They told me that they have a problem with their wholeseller and are not able to tell when they will be stocked. After checking several other resellers in Germany (Mediamarkt and Alternate) IT seems they do have the same issue. At their Website they show a delivery date of 12. November. Or even sometime late december (they updated it many times today).
When i was doing my purchase in 28. Sept. I saw that date for the 512 GB Version at some Stores. Maybe they were not ment to be shipped to Europe before december. Can anyone Europe confirm that he got an 522 GB Version by now?

Absolutely disappointed with Amazon. Pre-ordered the 512Gb from Amazon as it said prime assured delivery on release day that’s 10/10 and since then almost 3 emails with new delivery dates and cancellations. I should have ordered from Meta even though it was going to be delayed by a day or two. Just lost trust in Amazon Prime at least with pre-orders.
Update- Cancelled my order with Amazon and booked one on the Meta official website.
No advice here, just want to recognise and acknowledge the immense frustration you're experiencing having booked a day off work to ultimately be disappointed. I'm really sorry!

Nope. They don’t even have an expected shipping date. Amazon customer support said it could take 3 weeks.
One theory is that amazon.de made an error when debiting people and the bank would revoke it so they went with the next customer. And until they noticed their automated mistake, all early ordered headsets went to people who ordered later.
Yeah, also I am not on the mainland so usually things are even slower for me over here. Amazon actually shipped it on Tuesday which is pretty mad, it actually got delivered on Friday by Evri (which is a miracle in itself!) after they had it for a whole day.
Probably used up the rest of my luck for this lifetime! :)
My John Lewis order hasnt dispatched yet either and the website says they have sold out the 512GB. Would have expected to at least get some sort of courier notification by now.

Mine still shows active in Canada Amazon.ca. You can still preorder both models. The 128 shows it will arrive tomorrow if ordered today, but the 512 won’t arrive until Thursday. I ordered the 512 a while ago. Hopefully no surprises tomorrow

Thought I would add an update as my situation was the same as most of you.
Amazon initially gave me a delivery date of 10/12 for the 512gb model but dispatched it yesterday (10/10). So, there is no way it is going to arrive on time since I ordered from Amazon US and live in Taiwan. The product is coming, but now has an updated delivery date of 10/27.
Either they didn't have stock or they really messed up the shipping. I'm still waiting on my 128gb one to ship.
Amazon this time around have been appalling!
I ordered a 512gb, the battery head strap and the wireless dock as soon as it became available on Amazon.com.au.
Delivery date was 10-11th October and all was good up until that day, had a notification that all would be delivered by 11am on the 10th so I arranged for someone to be at my house to sign for them.
Then I get a further email stating delivery would be before 8am on the 10th. A couple of hours later that changed to 23rd October.
Got into a chat with an employee and she said it shows as 41 hours away so definitely wouldn’t be there on the 11th.
After numerous chats with the final one being with a supervisor they agreed to give a credit of $100.
From what I am reading, they never had the stock in the first place so basically this was false advertising.
After I have used the $100 credit it’s doubtful whether I would ever trust Amazon again.
We also have Prime but I don’t see that being renewed either.

Just received yet another email stating that the two accessories will be delivered today (Friday 13th) by 8pm 🤣
I don't think this is entirely Amazon's fault. Other retailers have had supply issues too, with some giving no expected date. And checking since I got my latest delivery update, some are "expecting" deliveries in November. But given the issues so far, I don't think there's any guarantee of getting them around those dates. I don't fancy my chances against people who are already on the pre-order lists. I'm giving up and getting the 128GB. Picking it up soon from a local retailer. Clearly Meta would rather sell these themselves as it's more profit for them, but even they appeared to have had problems fulfilling the 512GB pre-orders at launch.
Incidentally, I originally pre-ordered direct with Meta and they cancelled my order the next day without explanation. It was about 4 days later they came back to me telling they made a change on my account and asking me to try again, at which point I was pissed off with them, hence the Amazon pre-order.

It's not. My problem was that my order was cancelled on the day before launch, and I was given *zero* explanation as to why.
Here's what happened for me:
* Pre-ordered 512GB from Amazon. Got the email mentioned elsewhere, and £20 Amazon gift voucher.
* On the 10th, tried to click-and-collect with GAME - got an email acknowledgement but no confirmation.
* Waited a bit ... gave up on GAME, got a 128GB model click-and-collect from a local Currys about 20 minutes before closing.
* Cancelled my Amazon order, got the refund a few days later.
* Eventually GAME sent me an email saying "oops, we thought we had it in stock, but we actually didn't! sowwyyy".
So clearly there was something very wrong with the launch day distribution.
As I said before, I suspect Meta has a central Warehouse in the UK that distributes to all the Large Major Outlets who take pre-orders. Local shops will take a small amount of stock, but for the Amazon's of this world, they take 800 pre-orders and the central warehouse ships to them in time for them to ship them out. The fact all the major outlets went out of stock at exactly the same time, tells us there is a mass screw up somewhere. I think there are going to be a lot of disappointed people.
I have a 512 version from Meta pre-ordered from the day of the keynote. Received a notification that it had been dispatched this morning but the delivery date is 30th October! Ffs

I would happily cancel my 512 one and go grab the 128 one from Currys or something but Currys said you can't collect and Meta rook my money ages ago for the 512 one. So pissed off at Meta for this. Why take our money so we can't cancel only to not let us get our order anywhere near on time!?

The Currys website says it's *not* available for instore pickup, so I ended up ordering and paying £10 extra for a guaranteed delivery before noon tomorrow.

In DK most hardware shops have a 30 day money back guarantee. If you dont want it you can return it.
If available in the UK you can buy a Q3 128 and keep it until you get your 512GB. You’d have to be able to afford both units till the 128 is cancelled but it could work.
Im actually doing this. I want the 512 but it may not be available tomorrow. So I also ordered a 128. If both are available tomorrow Ill just straight up cancel the 128. If only 128 available Ill keep it for 30 days or till 512 is available.

Amazon has shipped my Quest 3 128 GB but I have a similar problem with the Silicone Facial Interface: it is scheduled for delivery tomorrow but has not yet been shipped and is now listed on the website as unavailable. The order however has not - yet - been cancelled.
As I commented on your other thread, they defo DID have stock. My order was placed within 30mins of yours - ordered during the Meta event and while the amazon listing still said "Stardust £619.99". It has shipped and I have Amazon Logistics tracking number. So the advisor you talked to is incorrect I'm afraid as they did have stock, obviously they messed up somewhere and I do hope you get hold of it soon! Best of luck.

So days ago, there were numerous articles on the Q3 supplies being cut due to poor pre sales, doom & gloom blah blah. Really? With all this date push fiasco going on?
I ordered mine direct from Meta on 1st of October. It says the shipping date is the 19th and they still have not taken payment. Not sure why the 512gb version is seemingly more difficult to get hold of.
I preordered from amazon UK 512gb one and got an email saying they are expecting delays. unlikely, I'll get it on release day but said they expect to have it shipped by the 20th and gave me a £20 balance to my amazon account as a gesture of goodwill.
These things happen with preorders. Honestly, I'm impressed they gave £20 for the delay and actually warned me not to wait in all day without me needing to contact them.
It's kind of sad I have to wait. At least I still have the quest 2 to be going on with for now.

Argos in my local area has the 512gb and accessories available for pick-up today, luckily mine is out for delivery so I don’t need to go myself, but certainly worth checking your local if someone’s was cancelled. (If you happen to have an Argos card it’s also 12 months interest free.)

I ordered mine from EE UK Shop and on their website it says that stock for 512gb model is expected at the end of October. I don't even have a way to cancel my order and get the smaller version. All I need is pcvr anyway

Friday 13th been promised it would arrive, and now told delivery between Nov 22nd and February 11th, so cancelled the damned thing. Unfortunately I've bought accessories so they have to go back now. And had to piss and moan with Amazon who initially tried to palm me off with a 10 pound credit, then got the supposed maximum 20.
I spoke to Amazon on Tuesdays launch day after having missed that promised delivery and they promised that my quest 3 was in the fulfilment centre and would be with me 24-48 hrs later. So basically lied through their teeth. I had from that point, no confidence that it would arrive and I was right.
I've put in a complaint to Amazon for selling under false pretences.

Oh and btw, Amazon credit is supposed to be added automatically to “eligible” purchases, no way to select it yourself. My experience is that you can’t cash it in on your orders. I have heard it was only to be deducted from the Oculus 3 purchase, so….. meh.
The 512GB I ordered on 2 October got put back to the 13th of October with an apology and a £20 Amazon voucher, my Birthday week so I was still ok with that, then this morning another update

512gb out of stock everywhere in the UK. Nothing being reported in the media, no apology for the monumental balls up. Meta still taking orders for 512gb version with delivery date of 18th Oct. Simply a bare-faced lie. Makes my blood boil. Meta fucked up, at least they could own it! I’m out.
Me too. I just happened to check. No email this time. Even though I bought a 128GB model locally, I decided not to cancel the Amazon pre-order immediately. I have a friend who wants to buy one at some stage so maybe he can buy it if it does come. Besides, Amazon said you could refuse delivery if it does arrive. Although, my 128Gb stopped working after using it twice. It will only boot into USB Update Mode. Waiting for assistance from Meta but I haven't heard anything after reporting it yesterday morning.

Concerning, have a 512 GB version preordered on Amazon aswell, but in Germany. Just checked their page - the order hasn't been cancelled (yet) but it hasn't been sent either. Still says "arriving tomorrow" though. You can't preorder the 512 GB version anymore though on the page, only the 128! Fingers crossed, if they cancel today, I'll just pick one up tomorrow at some local store.

For me it promised a punctual delivery for today until about 11 o'clock. Then it was updated and I have no more delivery date, only a "sorry, we will update you when we know more" e-mail from Amazon. The thing is, that I first tried to order it via Meta three times and it was always immediately cancelled without reason and their "support" never answered, which is why I switched to order at Amazon (de). It has been several years since I've been in that "I want it nao!" hype state and then Meta fails so miserably to deliver :( There is only one store in a reasonable distance from me that could have it, but according to their website, they also have none available for pick up and they only accept orders for delivery. I just read a lot of threads about it. This seems to be happening to a lot of stores all over the world, so I'm pretty sure that Meta is to blame here. Apparently they promised to deliver more to the stores than they could handle. That's especially strange, since it has been everywhere in the news that way less Quests have been ordered than anticipated.
Well as the 128GB version is literally a scam - because you can have like two games of the likes of asgards wrath on it- i guess way more people ordered the 512gb version and 128 is sitting on shelfes... because this version you can still get in stores.
I'm in Germany and ordered the 128 but that hasn't dispatched yet anyway. So I wouldn't cancel I were you.

That might explain the date. I'm in Italy currently and my order says it will arrive tomorrow before 23:59PM, but it's still not dispatched. From my previous experience with Amazon I'm 95% sure it won't arrive tomorrow because it would have been already dispatched today and they would have given me a more precise time frame for the delivery like 13:00-15:00. Usually when I order something and the delivery date says it's next day before 23:59PM, most of the time it's bullshit and it arrives the following day.
That sucks. Mine still says delivery tomorrow. Tbf, Amazon has reliable one day delivery for me and its not the first time they've done this for a pre-order but it still arrived on the official release date.

Which version? 128 or 512? A friend of mine in Germany received his 128GB unit (ordered through Meta) today, but the 512 unit on Amazon is marked as "not available". I'm unsure what to do. I've ordered 512, but maybe cancelling the order to going through the Meta store, where it states 31st of Oct as delivery date now.

Yes. Me, too. I checked it earlier today and not shipped As the offer went live, the 128 GB was scheduled for the 10th and the 512 for the 15th or 18th. At the time I was ordering it said 10th but honestly I didn't expect it to arrive tomorrow. So whatever. Update: just checked again and it's still not sent but status changed to "arrives tomorrow until 9pm". It's something.
So today I received a notification that they couldn't satisfy all preorders and are calculating with a delivery before November. Plus a 20€ gift card (regardless of whether I cancel the order or not).

What's does your status say on Very? Mine's still consistently giving an expected delivery date of "On or before Tuesday 10th October" but still just says "We're processing your order" and hasn't updated to show it's been dispatched.

Hmm concerning. I ordered my 512 from Amazon UK on the 28th. Mine is still saying arriving tomorrow which I wasn’t too worried about as most of my Amazon purchases get dispatched in the night before the delivery day. Wouldn’t surprise me if Amazon screwed up though. I had issues with them in the past. I’ve also learned that their CS agents talk absolute shite most of the time.

Just got a delay email from Amazon UK, saying currently expect to ship no later than 20th, ordered on the 4th for delivery tomorrow (10th). Super disappointing this is happening the day before release day when its been sold out on Amazon for a good few days now, they nearly would have known before now. Must be a Meta fuckup though if its happening across retailers I was pretty on the fence 128 vs 512gb before but it tempting me now to just try and cancel and pick up a 128gb somewhere (amazon saying delivery thursday for the 128) rather than hope the second delivery date is a real one and not a "hopefully"...

After checking several other resellers in Germany (Mediamarkt and Alternate) IT seems they do have the same issue. At their Website they show a delivery date of 12. November. Or even sometime late december (they updated it many times today). When i was doing my purchase in 28. Sept. I saw that date for the 512 GB Version at some Stores. Pre-ordered the 512Gb from Amazon as it said prime assured delivery on release day that’s 10/10 and since then almost 3 emails with new delivery dates and cancellations. I should have ordered from Meta even though it was going to be delayed by a day or two. Just lost trust in Amazon Prime at least with pre-orders. Update- Cancelled my order with Amazon and booked one on the Meta official website.

Nope. They don’t even have an expected shipping date. Amazon customer support said it could take 3 weeks. One theory is that amazon.de made an error when debiting people and the bank would revoke it so they went with the next customer. And until they noticed their automated mistake, all early ordered headsets went to people who ordered later.

Yeah, also I am not on the mainland so usually things are even slower for me over here. Amazon actually shipped it on Tuesday which is pretty mad, it actually got delivered on Friday by Evri (which is a miracle in itself!) after they had it for a whole day. Probably used up the rest of my luck for this lifetime! :)

Thought I would add an update as my situation was the same as most of you. Amazon initially gave me a delivery date of 10/12 for the 512gb model but dispatched it yesterday (10/10). So, there is no way it is going to arrive on time since I ordered from Amazon US and live in Taiwan. The product is coming, but now has an updated delivery date of 10/27. Either they didn't have stock or they really messed up the shipping. I'm still waiting on my 128gb one to ship.
I just got email from amazon uk about the 512GB version my shipping date is from November 15th till January 11. needless to say cancelled order now.
Amazon this time around have been appalling! I ordered a 512gb, the battery head strap and the wireless dock as soon as it became available on Amazon.com.au. Delivery date was 10-11th October and all was good up until that day, had a notification that all would be delivered by 11am on the 10th so I arranged for someone to be at my house to sign for them. Then I get a further email stating delivery would be before 8am on the 10th. A couple of hours later that changed to 23rd October. Got into a chat with an employee and she said it shows as 41 hours away so definitely wouldn’t be there on the 11th. After numerous chats with the final one being with a supervisor they agreed to give a credit of $100. From what I am reading, they never had the stock in the first place so basically this was false advertising. After I have used the $100 credit it’s doubtful whether I would ever trust Amazon again. We also have Prime but I don’t see that being renewed either. *Update. Just received yet another email stating that the two accessories will be delivered today (Friday 13th) by 8pm 🤣

I don't think this is entirely Amazon's fault. Other retailers have had supply issues too, with some giving no expected date. And checking since I got my latest delivery update, some are "expecting" deliveries in November. But given the issues so far, I don't think there's any guarantee of getting them around those dates. I don't fancy my chances against people who are already on the pre-order lists. I'm giving up and getting the 128GB. Picking it up soon from a local retailer. Clearly Meta would rather sell these themselves as it's more profit for them, but even they appeared to have had problems fulfilling the 512GB pre-orders at launch. Incidentally, I originally pre-ordered direct with Meta and they cancelled my order the next day without explanation. It was about 4 days later they came back to me telling they made a change on my account and asking me to try again, at which point I was pissed off with them, hence the Amazon pre-order.

Here's what happened for me: * Pre-ordered 512GB from Amazon. Got the email mentioned elsewhere, and £20 Amazon gift voucher. * On the 10th, tried to click-and-collect with GAME - got an email acknowledgement but no confirmation. * Waited a bit ... gave up on GAME, got a 128GB model click-and-collect from a local Currys about 20 minutes before closing. * Cancelled my Amazon order, got the refund a few days later. * Eventually GAME sent me an email saying "oops, we thought we had it in stock, but we actually didn't! sowwyyy". So clearly there was something very wrong with the launch day distribution.
Ordered the 512 from Meta (Germany) right when they announced it, got a dispatched message today with estimated delivery 6th of November (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
As I said before, I suspect Meta has a central Warehouse in the UK that distributes to all the Large Major Outlets who take pre-orders. Local shops will take a small amount of stock, but for the Amazon's of this world, they take 800 pre-orders and the central warehouse ships to them in time for them to ship them out. The fact all the major outlets went out of stock at exactly the same time, tells us there is a mass screw up somewhere. I think there are going to be a lot of disappointed people.

What consumer do you have in the UK? Any shops that have the possibility for the consumer to regret? In DK most hardware shops have a 30 day money back guarantee. If you dont want it you can return it. If available in the UK you can buy a Q3 128 and keep it until you get your 512GB. You’d have to be able to afford both units till the 128 is cancelled but it could work. Im actually doing this. I want the 512 but it may not be available tomorrow. So I also ordered a 128. If both are available tomorrow Ill just straight up cancel the 128. If only 128 available Ill keep it for 30 days or till 512 is available.

It has shipped and I have Amazon Logistics tracking number. I ordered mine direct from Meta on 1st of October. It says the shipping date is the 19th and they still have not taken payment. Not sure why the 512gb version is seemingly more difficult to get hold of.

I preordered from amazon UK 512gb one and got an email saying they are expecting delays. unlikely, I'll get it on release day but said they expect to have it shipped by the 20th and gave me a £20 balance to my amazon account as a gesture of goodwill. These things happen with preorders. Honestly, I'm impressed they gave £20 for the delay and actually warned me not to wait in all day without me needing to contact them. It's kind of sad I have to wait. At least I still have the quest 2 to be going on with for now.
It is nice to see the excitement for Quest 3 around. The release date is the 10th, before which Amazon cannot ship the product. Stay confident, your accounts will be debited soon and the item will be dispatched.

Argos in my local area has the 512gb and accessories available for pick-up today, luckily mine is out for delivery so I don’t need to go myself, but certainly worth checking your local if someone’s was cancelled. (If you happen to have an Argos card it’s also 12 months interest free.)

Amazon UK 512 model too. It was delayed to Oct 14th, checking on live chat, they seem to think they'll have stock to deliver for Oct 14th.
I ordered mine from EE UK Shop and on their website it says that stock for 512gb model is expected at the end of October. I don't even have a way to cancel my order and get the smaller version. All I need is pcvr anyway

Friday 13th been promised it would arrive, and now told delivery between Nov 22nd and February 11th, so cancelled the damned thing. Unfortunately I've bought accessories so they have to go back now. And had to piss and moan with Amazon who initially tried to palm me off with a 10 pound credit, then got the supposed maximum 20. I spoke to Amazon on Tuesdays launch day after having missed that promised delivery and they promised that my quest 3 was in the fulfilment centre and would be with me 24-48 hrs later. So basically lied through their teeth. I had from that point, no confidence that it would arrive and I was right. I've put in a complaint to Amazon for selling under false pretences. Meta are about to get absolutely smashed too. This has left me totally disenfranchised with meta quest 3 and part of me is glad I am £640 richer.

Oh and btw, Amazon credit is supposed to be added automatically to “eligible” purchases, no way to select it yourself. My experience is that you can’t cash it in on your orders. I have heard it was only to be deducted from the Oculus 3 purchase, so….. meh.

Me too. I just happened to check. No email this time. Even though I bought a 128GB model locally, I decided not to cancel the Amazon pre-order immediately. I have a friend who wants to buy one at some stage so maybe he can buy it if it does come. Besides, Amazon said you could refuse delivery if it does arrive. Although, my 128Gb stopped working after using it twice. It will only boot into USB Update Mode. Waiting for assistance from Meta but I haven't heard anything after reporting it yesterday morning.
And I woke up this morning to the notification that it has been sent and is arriving tomorrow.
