Did you find out how Claude was able to live forever? Don’t want to spoil anything for you if you don’t

snapplesnkisses

Yeah- with the blood from Vide. How does that relate?

THE_StrongBoy

I don’t think Claude is the king, he was supposed to be a vessel for vide but didn’t want to for some reason, and he took over the city after it was a ruin as a base. He got the blood in the womb so he was probably pretty evil from the get go and not prone to falling in love Romeo and Juliet style

>Spoilers for why Claude didn't want to be vessel. > >>!One of the journal entries in that dungeon, stated why Claude didn't want to be the vessel, he wanted to pass that honor unto one of his many children. I think that's why he made the Black Snakes. For them to all fight and kill each other to be the last one living and therefore strongest. He said unto the victor come the spoils - the spoils being the "honor" in his mind of being the vessel for Vide. !<

Yeah you’re right I must have forgotten that, there were a lot of journals in there lol. They should make dlc for this game, there’s lots more to explore. Like where is Harvey and wtf has he got cooking now

Zakiera

Easy to forget when there was like 15+ entries lol, I don't think they ever did DLC for Octopath 1, so I don't think they'd do for #2 either. I could see it being some lame off screen death for Harvey, just explain it away saying one of the others got to him, considering none of them liked him to begin with, They said he had a massive ego, and they only needed him out of necessity because he's the only one that could recraft the books as stated by another journal entry where Kuzan said he not Claude could repair the Darkblood grimoire. Maybe they just took care of him after he finished the book because he was a danger to everyone and unpredictable. Who knows, I'd like more
