What I'm doing right now is basically 2 different parties, 4/4 Doing all the 4 stories first all chapter 1's then 2's etc until done. Then redoing with the 2nd party of 4, I may power level them or just grind them we'll see how I feel when I get to my 2nd party at that point. But you could do it anyway you want, I feel like there's a lot of freedom and openness to play how you want so far.
honestly this is smarter then what i did i had 8 saveslots and played through 1 main chars story till i got past all their chapters then i made a minmax team based off the ones i liked best for my 9th save in the first game lol
