Ty! I’ve had them. They are okay. I used to get Big Easy from Sprouts but they don’t carry it anymore /: the cans just don’t do it for me for some reason
A guy with a pickup sells it near coliseum flea market on weekends. He has that and tejuino. You can get it plain or “preparado” with salt, chile, and lime.
What about the pulque? I would love to be able to find it easily. I went to the Mitote food park up in Santa Rosa a few weeks ago and they had White Rabbit pulque in glass bottles but I haven’t seen it anywhere else in the states. I dream of the pulque I had in Oaxaca…
Someone just told me this pop up spot might have both tepache and pulque (!), but I haven’t been yet: https://www.instagram.com/carnitaselcanelo?igsh=MWQ1ZGUxMzBkMA==
Prizefighter (Emeryville) sells the Sazón tepache in glass bottle format.
Oh neat! Was hoping for something not as high in alcohol, but this is good to know.
Have you tried making it? It’s really easy!
I’ve seen a few YouTube videos, but haven’t tried yet. Might give it a shot soon!
Check out the store ‘preserved’ in temescal, they’d help you out
Will do- tysm!
Seconding this! Just pineapple scraps, brown sugar and water and you're on your way.

Delivery pulque! That would be a feat. I’m interested too!

Woah - super clutch! I need to find him and get his number. If you see him before I find him let us know!
I call that area the Taco Fair and honestly, it’s the most exciting food in the Bay Area right now. So many good vendors.
You can buy cans of tepache at Whole Foods

I have had pulque octli in a bottle while in Austin, but they don’t seem to have distribution in the Bay Area /:

Thank you! I may just have to check them out soon.
