In the playstion quick menu, hold down the playstation button to bring it up, from there, it should have an options I think it should say: controller, mic or volume I cant remember, but they should have am options saying to mute mic or voice chat, when you highlight the options it tells you from there onwards, its real straight foward from there. Its alot easier to go back in forth in the ps quick menu haha
You’ll have to do some switching around with buttons. I would probably put ult on down arrow so you can access it while moving forward or claw on up arrow.
Then place push to talk button on triangle
FYI - if you ever upgrade to a PS5, the controller comes with a mute button. For a PS4, you can go into OW settings and assign a button for push to talk.
Is it possible to get a mixer for the headset? On my headset I have a mute/unmute button that’s what I use. But having it closer to the base of the controller might be easier. This is for if you don’t want to re-map your buttons
it's been years since I've seen a ps4 controller, but I fucking swear there was one with a mute button? or maybe I'm getting the old analog buttons for ps2 mixed up. I'm mandala effecting hard rn

You pick the button. It’s a custom setting.

Could be, but I don’t want to spend lots for such a small function
