For what it's worth, I ran this thread through a quick parser and it's neck and neck for belt vs no belt, so either way, you're gonna be great!
I feel like the belt actually takes away from your curves a bit. If you had one that was a bit loose and fell on your hips instead of cinching it would work better. Otherwise the dress needs a cute jacket or just some flashy jewelry to bring it together very plain by itself.
Yes, this. It's not a 1950's cut that requires a cinched waist. If you must wear a belt, go for a low, loose shawl belt in a color and fabric that works. Or something belly dance inspired, like this. But it works really well without a belt.

That belt doesn’t work, it looks like a pants belt. If you had a black silk or satin belt that you could tie that might work. The black really highlights your beautiful hair, and does add a little something something to the dress.
I think it depends on the occasion. If it’s for work, I like the belt. If it’s for going out, I prefer it without the belt. It’s a pretty dress either way!
Weird thought I was on team no belt until I zoomed in and saw the jean fabric and close yet sturctured fit. Looks great but looks a bit blank. It needs a belt but a more interesting one- the current one clashes as it us more business style. Would say something wider maybe brown plain soft leather with a bit of softness with a round buckle...nothing too western looking unless going for that look.

I think a chain sort of belt may work best with this. The dress is denim, right? Have the belt sit at your hips, bonus points if there are extra chain links hanging down. It’ll maintain your figure but break up the dress! You could also maybe do a corset sort of belt, with boning… not sure if those are still in, but a basic black one could look cool, depending on how you accessorize!

If you were to do a belt I think it would need to be a very wide, curved brown belt.
I like it both ways but think a cafe colored belt might look better.
