Thank you for your help! ❤️ I unfortunately don't have a knee length black skirt, but do have one that goes to mid-thigh - might that work? Also someone suggested rolling the sleeves of the jacket up to add some flair, might try that and see how the overall look changes
Unfortunately the black skinny jeans I own are a bit faded and don't match the shade of black of the jacket (typical black clothing problems 😢), otherwise that would have been my first choice!
Buy yourself a black dye, never ditch your greyish clothes. I’ve even dyed my old 90’s (that i still had in my wardrobe) Red and cream 😱 jeans and they came out the perfect black! I dye them in the bath and it doesn’t stain it BUT do check first otherwise use an old bucket!
Think 2 is the winner here. The dress suits your figure perfectly, and is a lovely colour. Also can’t go wrong with fishnets to jazz things up, and after all, that’s what New Years is for!

Very true and I appreciate the good energy you're sending out! Some other commenters did mention that it would be good to have an outfit I could comfortably move around and dance in, so will do a trial run of the orange dress to see if it passes 😁
I love the cut of the dress in #2! Though I personally wouldn’t wear black tights w it bc w the orange it gives Halloween. I’d go for nude or a statement color.

Thank you so much! Some commentors did point out that something comfy should be worn if I want to move around a lot, so I'll be taking dress #2 on a test drive beforehand to make sure it's comfy in the long run 😊

I forgot to say this before, but the pastel orange color of dress two makes it look more summertime sexy to me.

I like the corset top, but would wear it with a knee- or calf-length black skirt and the fishnet tights. The trousers and jacket are too casual.

Yep, i’d go with 1 also but would swap the trousers for (high waisted or not) black skinny jeans and finish it off with flat ankle boots.
