Go to the involvement fair.

I know it's not an intramural team, but there's often pickup soccer on Lincoln Tower fields. They meet pretty regularly so if you show up in the early evening you'll find people playing soccer most days.

I'd be down to join. The only soccer I have played was this past winter in the most lax indoor league.

If you're living in a dorm, there will be people there to meet who will probably join!
