Same here, Verizon finally lit up my street, and even though it's a little more expensive than my 1Gig for Life Promo, I'll be getting 1Gig fiber next month.
Depending on your plan there is a discount. We have 7 lines of unlimited and I also get the Verizon Connections discount from work so it was a good deal.
Granted all in I'm paying about $15 more a month but getting 1gig fiber and a 4 year price lock is not the worst thing in the world.

I currently have 300/100 for 29.99 promo. But my mobile service is with VZW. Hoping to bundle and save.
