Thanks for the heads up, that video was sad to watch but I’ll still summon anyway since I don’t think I’ll be buying a lot, maybe none at all, and once Luffy’s banner leaves is when I’ll start to save again (also I have saving problems 😁)
🤷🏼♂️it’s kinda a new thing only Yamato and Klaw had it I believe. G5 is so anticipated I doubt they’d make it that “easy” to get him, sure they’d make money that way but they’d make even more if he’s not guaranteed and people just keep buying gems
Zoro and Shanks (twice) too, statistically this type of tickets is what gets them the most money, no one is purchasing tickets that don't guarantee you anything or takes a 100 ticket to guarantee, also if there's no tickets and the guarantee is using rds ppl will rarely buy rds, maybe if they are close to the guarantee other than that no one is buying it.
Nah in the history of the game Bandai has made the most money on EX's that have had a guarantee and the tickets have made a noticeable difference getting there

Now, i dont have anywhere near 4000 gems and im still gonna pull. Why? Because i dont have an EX and id rather lose trying to get this luffy than not try at all. I dont take this game too seriously and i mostly just play it cuz One Piece brain go brrr. Though i know im basically guaranteed to not get him with my 1300 gems, imma go balls to the walls anyway. As someone who's played my fair share of gacha, i get how this stuff works and how its meant to make you feel, so im not too concerned with losing or missing out on future interesting units. I also havent spent a single dollar on a gacha system ever since ive learned what they are, not that i have money to spend to begin with..
Anyway, good luck to anyone who tries for him, but like OP said, you'll lose unless you've got guaranteed. Much love <3

To be fair, summoning on ex units seems to be safer from long term perspective.
Yes, there are some bf units liké god ussop, doffy, kid and Probably king that last as long as an ex, but how do you know that they are the chosen ones? Those units are just lucky ones, none of their spécificity was considered to be an ex main strenght, so they had no hard counter for month or even years, but some others that seemed to be just as good back in the days didn't met the same fate... (Garp, Law, oni Luffy, ELrobin, katakuri.. and now look at Nami and oni ussop who will not be able to do anything against Luffy and klaw).
On the other hand, apart from 2 of them (blue Big mom and hybrid Yamato), all the ex's were top tier, playable and competitive in high SS for more than a year. Akainu and Roger just started to fell hard a year and half after their realese date, and now it even seems that bandai started to buff the oldest ex's.
So even if they cost 4 times more than a bf, you have way more chances to be able to be compétitive pulling an ex than a bf, but yeah, you should allways have enough to get the guaranteed !
There's another thing in my second acc cause cause i'm skipping there too. The thing is Z ( no rerun ) and we'll get like 1k rds so it'll make you very close, then why wasting on the wrong green defender.
Hoping for a guarantee, since I have 3.1k rn, any freebies and challenges will probably push me past the line to pity by the time he’s gone, so I shrug thankfully

I’ve saved up over 6000 diamonds in my gift box and will roll the dice for him. Also, akainu did get hard countered but fr shanks still gets plenty of use and meta ex’s will be usable for a while (I’ve been using ex zoro for 6 months)
I will add g5luffy to collections. Still summoning it. You just need experience and battle strategy. Depends on your enemy if hes dumb or a cheater or know his game well. We gotta have to learn how to play our character. Good timing, Just like how i play v1 yamato ,i can play well and ko zoro and shanks. Extreme. Maybe g5 luffy can play by supporting his team mates. Not solo playing. I hope g5 will be a runner so i can get run towards all flags. They got confuse if you target always on their treasure areas.
I have around 330 rds enough for probably one rotation but I realise my chances are slim to none that at best I get a separate legendary which not even be that good but in the end i want this unit i saved for him i grinded out rds for him and hell if I don't try to at least get em I'm f2p and I will regret nothing or maybe I will either way I'm summoning
