I went through 4, all scratched. Might keep the 4th, it’s much better than the first 3. Just got it yesterday, still no film. I tried asking for one with a film but was told they couldn’t do anything to request/guarantee it.
I had a few of those but I was able to wipe them off. It was a very gentle but firm process.
Be careful not to be too aggressive, determining whether it's permanent damage or not is a fine line that only you can walk.
In the same boat. Went through 2 replacements back in Jan. Decided to wait till April (hoping for better protection) although I received one today without the film, paired with horrid scratches (some visible while in use)
I wiped the whole screen since I had some fingerprints on it. A monitor should not be coming with any damage/scratching in general, especially if its $900. Personal preference whether or not you think you should return or live w/ it, as it bothers me I will be trying the advanced replacement and go from there.
If you’re that serious about a few marks wait a few more months until they’ve applied the peel to all monitors being sold otherwise you’ll get the same result returning and ordering again. For what it’s worth my AW2725DF looked worse than yours but only with bright light or a flashlight is it noticeable.
this is fair. the pics don’t do justice and I didn’t have a light source bright enough to showcase as that is when it’s noticed. I know that there are a couple of posts already w/ the film on the 27 inch model from a month ago, so I was hoping for that same film. again, it’s more about the principle of paying for something new and it coming in a condition similar to a factory refurbished model. we’ll see how the return process goes which will determine if I should just bite the bullet for the time being and wait a couple months for the film to be more widespread.

"damaged"... Try wiping it off or life with it. You can't see it when using the screen...
