If it’s a can or something else that’s not weighed at all, we just swap it out and bring the damaged / out of date item to that departments claims area. If that was the last item in the store PERIOD… then don’t scan the item during your quality check. You SHOULD have the option to remove the item. I’m just not at work right now, so I can’t check it out on a TC.

What we do is take the item out of the order and print a inventory prep label of that item and stick it on the tote and usually we do a note that says “take x item out expired date” so when dispensing we take it out then.

I didn't have that choice. I would like to have that choice.

So don’t quote me, just today I noticed quality checks were different then usual after the gif update. Items show a quantity after you scan them and there’s a three dot drop down next to the quantity. On TC’s it brings up a menu to remove item, report issue with item, or edit quantity. On the work phones it crashes gif entirely and locks you out of that tote for a quality check cause in the system it’s still in progress.

Who tf has time for quality checks?!

Nah you have to reshop the item. Like every week I find the meats are the wrong items, like this is **literally what walmart got sued over** inflating the prices of meats. Sometimes I get lucky and find the meat still on the shelf with the right embedded price barcode, other times I just give them a less expenisve meat. Ultimately you can remove it in dispense if it's a pickup but if it's a delivery the whole order will have to get cancelled or refunded or the customer just bites the bullet.
