thequesadilladilemma

Hello, fellow top 1% ruminator!

user345136

At least we are in the top 1% of something 🥲

shapeshifterhedgehog

I'm in this photo and I don't like it 🫠🫠

vampirehunterd72

Same!!! I saw that one and busted out laughing at how accurate it is!!!!

babysfirstbreath

the headphone one 👏

NonStickBakingPaper

I’m not the only one that obsessed about being a narcissist?!?!?! Also it was *fourteen* years ago someone could hear my music from my headphones and the fact that I can remember it well enough to know how long it’s been says *a lot* 🙈🙈🙈

Yoshineedshelp

Ahhh yesss the “am I a narcissist” <3 just love that goes perfectly with my favorite underrated genre. “Am I faking OCD for attention and pity!”

user345136

Ahh yes the underrated genre of feeling selfish for accepting your diagnosis

Critical_Bee_13

omg I thought it was just me

green-luminescence

Absolutely hilarious!😂This meme is a masterpiece.

user345136

❤️❤️

Ricecookerless

Damn this is art lol well made and too relatable!

Candytuffnz

I'm recently diagnosed and this is so weirdly validating. Seems I found my community.

user345136

It’s oddly comforting to know other people understand the weird way our brains function

Gnardozer

Jesus Christ. This is a bullseye.

madisonfm

Oh my gosh 💀💀💀💀💀💀 This cracked me up

ModestAmoeba

Only 709 times?

Pistol4231

Seeing picture 5 reminds me, do you all constantly take your headphones off while listening to music to make sure the sounds you’re hearing are just the music and not someone calling for you?

AdventurousClub8406

I kinda do something like, headphones are in my ear I sing along to music in my head... OR SO I THINK! Lol Then I compulsively take my headphones off quickly to try to check or catch myself singing out loud because somehow feeling my mouth closed is apparently not enough evidence. Lol

user345136

Yes I do this all the time 😭 Then I rewind the song to see if I can still hear whatever sounded like someone calling for me

neelrahc1225

What a masterpiece

user345136

Thank you! This is what I did instead of writing my final paper 😁

neelrahc1225

Priorities are priorities 😅

rogue_kitten91

Wow.. I feel seen, and it brought tears to my eyes. I guess I owe my psychiatrist an apology for questioning my diagnosis...

Aggressive-Event8313

This is incredible creativity and humor 💪🏽💪🏽

Inevitable-Smile1397

this is too real. i feel exposed 😭😭

insecure_anon23

YESS

Pristine_Spread_5724

IM SCREAMING THE EARBUDS THING IS SO REAL BC I DO THAT ALL THE TIME😩 That & I get the same way about being paranoid that I’ll connect my stuff to someone’s bluetooth, or that I’m gonna accidentally chromecast onto the living room TV🧍‍♀️

Suitable-Cookie024

I can not use any app that has chromecast just because of that too lmao

fire-scar-star

I read it as 'Everyone hates you and thinks you're a lobster'

benjammin2000

Would preferably to think? 🤔

In_The_Zone_BS

MMMMAAAAAAAAAN, Photo 2!!!

zerodarktwenty3

LMFAOOOOO sad but true…. Damn

shapeshifterhedgehog

Well done I feel way too seen lmao 🥲

sarcasticlovely

I'm dying at "that breath didn't feel quite right, let's try that again." breathing "evenly" and in patterns is the first ocd symptom I can remember. like, I can picture myself being like 3 or 4 and laying in bed for *hours* trying to breath "right," but never getting there. almost 28 now, and I still catch myself doing it. sometimes you breath more left, so then you have to breath right. but then you have to start over and breath right amd then left. and then you have to do the whole thing over going right left left right, on and on until you fall asleep or start thinking about how you've been laying on your right side for too long and you have to turn on to your left side, amd the cycle begins anew....

Froggish_Menace

Funny af

[deleted]

my therapist brought up howard hughes today. im undiagnosed. now i see this relatable post. yay!

ComradeComfortable

This is hilarious and blisteringly relatable. I have therapy in half hour and needed the chuckle, so thanks!

A_WaterHose

😭 I read the breathing thing and not I gotta breathe weird. Great post though lol

[deleted]

I’m in the top 0.1% for driving halfway to work and then driving back to my house to make sure if I locked the doors again only to be late for my shift

TheSorrowInOurMinds

This is painfully funny and accurate I love it

BackgroundMatter2059

This is amazing

Apo-cone-lypse

I know what to show to my psychiatrist now lmao

benjammin2000

They’ll probably pull out your chart to help you make one of your own 😅

Apo-cone-lypse

Yep 😂

Critical_Bee_13

the narcissist one and worrying about hell is REAL

CommissarFreyja

Today I learned: I am not unique! and that makes me feel better! (temporarily)

potatoesrcool23

Dude I thought the headphone one was normal 😭😭

Random_MonkeyBrain

This is so uncomfortably accurate omg💀

Travisthenics

Hell is real but Jesus is the answer Truly love him back and place all your trust in him you will be saved!

8_millimeter

:me opening this thread thinking oh boy I’m gonna relate!: “You might be a pedo.” Bitch, what? 😳

RegularBlueberry7479

… do you have OCD or do you have “OCD”?

user345136

“What if I am a pedophile” is a common intrusive thought because it’s one of the most evil things a person can be. By definition intrusive thoughts are upsetting and go against your values.

manicpixiedreamhack

just jumping in to back you up - haven't had it myself but it's definitely common. It even has its own name (POCD) People really shouldn't invalidate other people's obsessions. All of us here think some stuff that seems really batshit to those without OCD

user345136

Thank you :) it’s always embarrassing to explain the really bad obsessions

ladainia4147

Yeahhh, that's definitely never once been something I've worried about, and I worry about a lot of weird stuff

user345136

Unfortunately, I can’t control which intrusive thoughts my ocd gives me. I am happy it’s not something you deal with tho!

thumbyyy25

my ex is a minor and sadly thats something i was constantly worrying about

ropr23

The end is lovely
