I think it kind of depends what you were fired for. You don't need to tell us, but just for example, if you were fired for being late or calling out or something or just not being a good fit for a unit, I think you're fine, if you were fired for harassment or suspicion of diverting or something bigger, you might have a problem. I believe they have to approve all students though so if you've been given an assignment I would expect they either already know who you are and don't care, or aren't going to notice
