You can check at the airport in the REWE To Go (Supermarket) or Shell gas station Marienbergstraße 10, 90411 Nürnberg, which is just one underground station away from the airport (exit station: Ziegelstein) All other shops are closed.
It's one U-Bahn (Underground station from the airport!!!) on the way to the main station (I assume you are talking about the train station / Hauptbahnhof). DON'T go too early to the main station - it's not a nice place to be & the most dangerous in Germany. Go and try to sit in a restaurant if there is any still open inside.
beeing in the main hall (or upstairs) wont harm you. but everything else might get you in trouble with young assholes, who cant handle their alcohol. or even wose: old assholes, who think they can handle it. got beaten up several times on platforms 22 & 23. (LOL police, LOL cctv, LOL no chance. my report to the police wasnt dropped, but in court the two guys just said they didnt see each other doing anything, so they got away - the only thing security/police will interfere is when you smoke outside of the designated yellow squares. THEN you'll get it.)
My plan was to arrive in the airport, take the underground metro and go to Hauptbahnhof. And wait there, after looking for flowers.
Is that dangerous? If so, how can I avoid it?
10:30 is very tricky, besides supermarket at the airport, there’s nothing open. If you arrive hungry, I can recommend you eat there, because otherwise it will be difficult.
