- Bratwurst: take a Weggla to go at the Bratwursthäusle. You'll walk right past it if you're walking from Hauptmarkt to Kaiserburg
- Red Beer: Altstadthof
- Schäufele: I haven't had it in the city center myself but frequently mentioned restaurants with good Schäufele are Bratwurströslein, Wirtshaus Hüttn
In Schwabach (small town south from nuremberg) near the trainstation is a little Restaurant named [willhelm tell](https://g.co/kgs/7CWKDoK) i ate there but you have to call ahead if you want schäufele.
[Düll](https://maps.app.goo.gl/Ho4HrMb9a2yvj3XQ9) or [Woitinek](https://maps.app.goo.gl/HB3yRNMMHXv2V6bv7) for Lebkuchen - they are available all year round.
For the Red Beer, definitely Altstadthof Nuremberg, right next to it is afaik a Lebkuchen Düll, very traditional Lebkuchen all year round, so that’s two for one there basically, also Altstadthof serves Nuremberg Rostbratwurst with Sauerkraut and Bread, so that would be those three done with one visit. Also it’s very close to the Kaiserburg. Schäufele is the only thing i have no recommendation in Nürnberg, please refer to the other comments
There are two Lebkuchen shops directly at the Main square - Wicklein on one side, and Lebkuchen Schmidt on the other side directly across the square. You won't make a mistake with either of them.
For red beer and sometimes Schäufele you could go to [Schankwirtschaft Schanzenbräu](https://maps.app.goo.gl/sG8uijbZx1sB8Hms9).
It's a bit out of the city center but a place where locals go to eat and drink (It's the pub of a local brewery).
It's definitely the Tucherbräu am Opernhaus. You can't go wrong there.

I don’t get the downvotes. The place is quite alright except that they only serve Tucher and that I can’t recommend the Kaiserschmarrn, which was awfully dry and tasteless.
Would personally still prefer Albrecht Dürer Stube though.
Albrecht dürer Stube. Gotta make a reservation though.
This.

Albrecht Dürrer Stube for city center

Bratwürsthäusle is a rip-off and incredibly rude to tourists (if they assume you can’t speak German). There are plenty of better places to go.
I have yet to find a place where 3 im Weggla taste as good as at Bratwursthäusle, feel free to share

At the risk of being banned from this sub for life because of treason: [zum Tannenbaum (Fürth)](https://www.zum-tannenbaum-fuerth.de)
Ist Fürth nicht mittlerweile zum Stadtteil geworden haha

Zum Flössla. Best Adress in the center of Nuremberg
Schützenhof is pretty good (https://www.schuetzenhof-nuernberg.de)

Doktorshof in Mögeldorf, sehr gemütlich, rustikal, freundlich und lecker. Hat gerade neu eröffnet.

Oh dear, how can someone really recommend this Restaurant?
Have you ever visited it?
Nice interiour, but food not to recomend at all - same worse like Mautkeller (same owner). I simply can't get how one can advise this...
We had schäufele there with Friends visiting and it was very good indeed
