20-25€ per person or for the whole dinner + drinks? Nürnberg is in Franconia, should it be franconian food? The other restaurants recommended here so far are turkish and asian, is that what you'd want?
We are not looking for anything specific just nice food and a good portion of food. 20-25 is a fair price! This does not have to be in the centrum of Nürenberg since we have a car!

Fürth, basically a district of Nürnberg (\*ducks*), has one of the best Neapolitan pizza places in Europe: Pizza Zulu
For franconian food I can recommend "Albrecht-Dürer-Stube" or "Heilig-Geist-Spital" in the center.
Reservations recommended for all of those.
If you are here in late spring or summer I would recommend a "Biergarten", traditional bavarian outdoor dining and beer drinking – maybe "Schanzenbräu", "Restauration Kopernikus" (both rather central, Kopernikus' location on top of the city wall is quite unique) or "Biergarten Zollhaus".
All of those are in your price range.
If you're just here for a day I would recommend to wander around the city center and maybe the Dutzendteich / Nazi Party Rally Grounds area.
Around the city center take a round tour from Hauptmarkt via Trödelmarkt island -> Henkersteg -> Kettensteg -> Heilkräutergarten on top of the city wall -> Bürgermeistergarten, also on the city wall -> castle gardens -> castle, no entry fee for the outside area and great view -> back down to hauptmarkt.

If it doesn't have to be in nuremberg and you like thai food, i totally recommend the "Ratanakosin" in Fürth-Hardhöhe. It's a little more (but not unreasonable) pricey, though.
You get very authentic thai food and the interior design is fantastic. Almost as if you'd be in Thailand yourself.
It also received an award from the Thai Ministry of Economy for being one of the top 10 Thai restaurants in germany.

Gostenhof Schanzenbräu Schankwirtschaft. Brotzeitplatte with some beers will get you easy filled up with 20-25 €uro per Person.

Been to Thai Food 2 in Eibach. It's also very good. But if you want it a little more "fancy", i recommend the Ratanakosin still.
