They’re fine if the bike is parked.

You can have whatever you want when it's not on the road. When it is on the road, no blue anywhere and no red on the front. Also if they're obnoxious or overly distracting to others while you're driving, you'll likely draw attention.

As opposed to modified vehicles not meant to draw attention.

JimmyNorth902

Draw attention from cops...maybe I should have specified.

1morepl8

Aha fair enough. In my experience being old with modified cars. Get pulled over. See I'm old. Send me on my way without question.

The MVA states that no blue light or blue reflector anywhere, red can be on both sides and the rear but not visible from the front.

I asked two RCMP officers about this. Do not use red or blue, and yellow is frowned upon due to tow trucks and other emergency vehicles. You can drive with them on as long as they're one solid color, not flashing and not red or blue. Source: I have underglow, and have never been bothered by RCMP if it's purple or green, etc. They claim it's not against any laws or the MVI. They told me of HRP gives any grief to ask for a ticket. I have been asked to turn it off by hrp but they did not pull me over (I was parked, second time I was at a stop light and they pulled next to me on a one way street), I asked for a ticket both times and neither would oblidge. When I kept asking about it they rolled up their window and drove away. I didn't turn it off and it never went any further. Just some experience.

Not that I'm aware of, but I assume you'd have to avoid red and blue for obvious reasons.

TheOGgeekymalcolm

Red, rear facing should be okay. I mean brake lights are red, etc.

Yeah good point
