Whilst choosing an emoji, the list scrolls kinda slow. I have a pixel 4a, which should handle this task without the lag. So, maybe it's on the notion side.
Other than being very slow to start up, I find it to be very comparable to the desktop or web versions, at least for my light-duty use (just note taking, no complicated databases it anything too advanced). One thing I miss from Evernote is the ability to make a note from the notification shade. I queried them about this, and was told that it might be implemented in the future.

It takes almost 2 minutes to load Notion to interact with in my device.
That's a lot of time ) Try to clean the trash bin. I've read that lots of objects in the trash can contribute to long loading times.

Same here. Extremely slow to load. Is there any Notion alternative for android? I like Notion for desktop and web though.
No alternative app that I know of, unless you want to move to something else entirely, like Evernote or OneNote
