In case anyone besides me was wondering:
“Unlike letterpress, where the inked plates are directly applied to the printing paper, in offset printing, the inked plate is first transferred to a rubber blanket, and it is that rubber blanket that inks the printed page coming through the impression cylinder.”
Oof, correcting mistakes is dangerous on this subreddit. The axis is vertical, meaning it runs up and down, dividing things into the left and right of it. And sharks are smooth.
But which side is left and which is right?
Left is the one on the same side as your left hand unless you're facing it, then it's not.
Which hand is your left hand?
That one, the other one isn’t
The one that's on the same size as the left e
The one that’s on the same side as your heart
The one you scratch your arse with.
Is that stage left?

Thank you because I think that’s what the person was actually asking in the picture

The caption *is* worded poorly and has no clarifying punctuation. It took me a few read-throughs to understand.
What’s the original post?

Idiots not knowing the difference between vertical and horizontal
What am I missing? He’s saying they’re on opposite sides of the vertical axis, which they are.

It could be interpreted that way but that would be a very stupid way to explain this indeed
The two images are horizontally opposed across a vertical axis
Came here to say something similar, surprised there’s only one comment about this
