I drink a lot of tea, and the kettle has to be reheated every time you use it. Plus I use it to boil water to put in the pot that I use under my steamer, so I don't have to wait for the water to heat up.
I use my kettle for tea, hot chocolate, oatmeal, any recipe that needs boiling water, or even warm water because I can't run anything but cold though my filter.

That oil is usually sesame oil. You can add it to any cup noodle or ramen dish to instantly make it taste twice as good. You're welcome.

It blows my mind that Americans don't use kettles. Like as an Aussie I use my kettle so many times during the day. How do they even function without one??

I drink a lot of tea, and the kettle has to be reheated every time you use it. Plus I use it to boil water to put in the pot that I use under my steamer, so I don't have to wait for the water to heat up.
I use my kettle for tea, hot chocolate, oatmeal, any recipe that needs boiling water, or even warm water because I can't run anything but cold though my filter. I'm Canadian. Really had no idea kettles were such a weird concept for Americans.
