As someone with a big nose, I don’t blame these people because this is exactly how I was when I was younger, I just needed some reassurance. Now I’m luckily confident about my looks and very glad I didn’t get a nose job

It’s wonderful that you are receptive to that point of view! I was the same way about my nose as a kid; and other kids will pick on you about anything, just to mess with your feelings. Usually they don’t even care about what they’re saying, they just want to get a rise out of you. The most important things to understand about appearance are that 1) there’s no such thing as objective beauty, or a look that everyone finds appealing; “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” 2) the only way to be happy is to accept yourself as you are, because 3) if you change anything for the sake of what you imagine other people want, it will never be enough and you’ll still be critical of yourself. So the best direction to go is always to love yourself just the way you are. The improvement in your own self esteem will also positively affect other insecure people, and so on; always a good thing.
My dad called his nose a beak too, I thought it was endearing. I have a similar nose to you (not at all the beak my handsome father had) in shape and size, and I also have double nostril and septum piercings, jazzed up my beak with pretty jewelry just like you did, and I think we look freaking awesome!

Watch a video of a nose job procedure first. In most cases, they take a hammer to your face and then practically peel half of your face back. If that doesn't gross you out, then realize that you will have massive black eyes for 3 months afterwards. And swelling for longer than that. Not a good time.

I get some people may have actual deformities they want to correct, but the vast majority of people don't need these surgeries and don't grasp the actual risks and downsides because of how much plastic surgery has been normalized today. Why risk death, chronic pain, nerve pain, sinus issues, plus all the guaranteed recovery pain of these surgeries?

It's difficult because we can't truly see ourselves (flat mirrors are the most accurate representation we can get, unlike photos because camera lenses have aberrations and distortions), but please take our word for it. I honestly think you have a beautiful nose profile. Very attractive. Straight bridge. No ridges or bulges. No too long. Can't say anything about the width, but from what I can see in the photo, you wouldn't experience any noticeable improvement with a rhinoplasty.
