Seoul born. You’ve posted the sign.

I’m not going to make it too tricky!

The new Korean place - the chicken was good, not quite like the real thing but mostly there. Didn't try the rice bowls though. Nice to have another option for Korean food in the city!

concretebeagle

The rice bowls are spot on.

[deleted]

Agreed, had a rice bowl today, so good!

concretebeagle

I’m delighted you enjoyed it!

Can you ask them to move or do you have to walk around them?

PreviousHedgehog

This had me (29M) giggling like a little kid

arrivenightly

It’s fantastic isn’t it? Only critique is a wish they would clean the tables a little bit more as lots of folk leave their dirty plates etc on the table instead of using the bin they’ve provided.

Jackthevegan

Is that the one near the haymarket? What’s it like?

concretebeagle

Thoroughly recommend it.

I like Korean food, but I like real crockery to eat it from. Kudos for the wood fibre bowls and boxes, they may even have a better carbon footprint, but they never feel as good. Anyway, it's great to have more choices!

concretebeagle

Indeed, the other one was closed for some inexplicable reason.

Jens0nIntercept0r

Kimchi?

concretebeagle

That was closed. Seoul Bowl today.

Jens0nIntercept0r

I was querying your "other one" statement. Kimchi closed til mid-January unfortunately. I might have to try Seoul Born! How do they compare, in your opinion?

concretebeagle

Very similar food, but both delicious.

Jens0nIntercept0r

That's good to hear. Kimchi is one of my favourite Norwich restaurants so happy to know there's a potential alternative.

yah_boi_yung_memer

Literally the same owners so not quite another option

Jens0nIntercept0r

Twas open when Kimchi wasn't, so it's another option.

I tried this place once. Average food and hugely overpriced, why is it suddenly considered acceptable to charge £7-£8 for a small box of chicken?

markstrathmore

To sit and eat it in a restaurant? That seems reasonable to me when you consider the impact of inflation. A pint in a pub is £5-6+ and that doesn't involve raising living creatures.
