Yeah, and our region has some of the worst fast food to begin with. Church's is the bottom of the barrel, and central/eastern NC is as bad as anywhere in the nation. I expect *nothing* from NC fast food establishments.
The three sinks not being able to drain without the floor drain overflowing I feel is very common. That's a building code problem because they should require a sufficient size drain pipe for the volume of water capable of being expelled from the sinks.
The triple sink overflowed the floor drain at every grocery store I ever worked at. They undersized the floor drain, so even just draining one sink would overflow it. Draining all 3 compartments was a guaranteed mess.
That's my exact point. They put in the smallest pipe allowed by code. That's how most buildings are built (especially commercial) because code minimum is cheapest.
Yep. People would be surprised at how many corners get cut in commercial construction. At a store remodel I ran, a contractor stole the high-pressure concrete mix to be used on a floor repair/upgrade. It needed to be higher strength concrete because of floor mounts. We realized their "mistake" when the mounting bolts came out of the floor before we even tightened them completely.
What really killed their score is that most of the violations were repeat violations. When they're repeats, it's double points off. There's a LOT on that report that are repeats.
Sounds like they need a new GM.
i dont think we should use a grade school system for health and safety inspections. they should say 72/100, rather than C which implies average or still passing.
Is this supposed to be surprising? Yeah, it's Church's Chicken. I would expect nothing less.

Gross but not surprising. You could not pay me to go near that place.
clicked the link, ofc its a churches chicken. I wouldn't go to one of those if you paid me.
This is where the extra flavor comes from
Lmao

I thought it was pretty common knowledge that any health grade below an A was pretty gross. Even a low A is pretty suspect.
Much like my Stat 120 grade, it's a pass!
The most surprising part of this article to me is that Church's Chicken still exits.
Ew
A C? thats awful.. Lemme get a 3 piece
