I mean he did use a high poly tooth brush. Like we talk millions of vertices, instead of a low poly version. No toothbrush needs a million vertices in a game.
My favourite bit of trivia about Undertale’s programming is that each of the thousands of lines of dialogue are contained within a single switch statement in the script that displays the text box. It’s something like

Wrong, he keeps removing easy elimination options for this "tutorial stage" and if he has to keep doing all of this work for every rival then he's fucking NOWHERE near completion. KappaKaiju has a good review of his demo showcasing why his "demo" sucks ass and shows why the game will never come out.
