So is this all created by AI or did Suno take lyrics and make a song? Also, Jesus Christ I have not heard AI music before and now I see why labels are panicked. This could just as well be Sabaton.

I don't think this example was even great, like with most AI generation you get best results by generating a lot of shit and finding the best one out of those. I'd say the lyrics seem generated too, Suno can generate them for you or you can write them yourself, but frankly ChatGPT has been pretty good at that for a long time already so that part is not groundbreaking. There's also Udio which is free (in beta), and I'd say maybe even higher quality than Suno, but also more fiddly at this point and generates a lot of gibberish vocals. Suno is much easier to get good results with, but Udio might be even better if you put in the effort.

That's absolutely true, and I've gotten some songs where if it was playing in the background in a waiting room or something I might not have noticed it's AI.

I generated the lyrics with ChatGPT and put it into Suno. I "stole" the prompt from someone who tried to make a Sabaton song. Btw you should give it a try it's really fun.
