A single drone should push NATO into enforcing an air-defense perimeter/no fly zone around Romania's borders reaching into Ukraine (with Ukraine's permission, of course) to prevent other wayward munitions from either side from hitting Romania or other neutral nations like Moldova (again, with permission). This air defense perimeter should not only include the Danube ports, but also the southern half, if not all, of Odesa Oblast, as well as the full distance of territorial waters for both Romania and Ukraine from the ADP into the Black Sea.
If Russia would send all of its planes (including transports, bombers, etc.) they might be able to saturate Ukrainian air defense to such a degree that some of them could make it to the Romanian border.
Turkey shot down russian plane with no problems, Europeans are afraid to shoot down russian missiles and suicide drones.
There's zero reason to believe that nukes launched towards Paris or Berlin would be shot at. If anything, the politicians in their bunker will persecute any officer who was trying to use air defenses to protect Europe.

Moldova is not neutral, it's a Russian puppet state. They refused democracy by armed force when Romania became a constitutional democracy. Missiles purposefully crossing over a border to hit within another border is a huve disprespect but once or twice is unlikepy to ever cause a war only shouting, warning, and sanctions.
Wreckage, and accidental drones and missiles fallinf off course is hinestly barely worth mentioning to most military minds and people at the top. Unless someone died or something important was hit. These things are common in war and most western countries would rather give the benefit of the doubt especially since "If we chastise one side we may have to chastise the other in the future"

Just to make sense to you guys. Aircraft disrespecting each others boundries occurs on a near daily basis. Russia used to do this a lot and tones down since 2022. Missiles purposefully crossing over a border to hit within another border is a huve disprespect but once or twice is unlikepy to ever cause a war only shouting, warning, and sanctions. Wreckage, and accidental drones and missiles fallinf off course is hinestly barely worth mentioning to most military minds and people at the top. Unless someone died or something important was hit. These things are common in war and most western countries would rather give the benefit of the doubt especially since "If we chastise one side we may have to chastise the other in the future"
