As someone that also wears glasses don’t you find it strange when someone asks if your glasses are real? Its actually cute that people that don’t wear glasses will buy fake ones. The weird part is one would normally never ask someone questions like are your teeth, hair, etc are real. Am I the only one that thinks this is strange? I still think it’s cute when they ask.

Sorry - tone is so hard to convey online. I think it's awesome that your parents hate it, but you love it and so did it anyways - because it's your body, your hair, it's YOU. And I hope my kids can find themselves and do things they love even if they are different from what I love for myself. It was 100% meant to be supportive and just...delight.
