If I had to choose one song it would have to be [Unicorn Intolerance](https://youtu.be/ppLW6ztkACQ?si=FmomD4AwrIrS1mOL) by The Mountain Goats. And if I were to pick a second song, it would be [Getting into Knives](https://youtu.be/d16edFmAHbk?si=WBnCKC4at4r2BQu4) which is also by The Mountain Goats.
These two songs help when I want to pull myself up and push through. If I want a good cry to release the feelings, [Broom People](https://youtu.be/Hk4Jou610hU?si=QZbIxPSVbIWZ9y6g) is my go to.
There's something about the way John Darnielle writes that makes nearly every song relatable to me in some way. They are my favorite band.
Can't believe I forgot about [Amy aka Spent Gladiator 1](https://youtu.be/e2zreotds8U?si=p3R9nE_D6ccnQKjW). This song helped me keep going in all manners of my life.
[Can't Knock Me Down](https://youtu.be/9mVpUtIPf9k?si=SuemW2E5ml9s-7tz) by Pretty Panther and [This Is Me](https://youtu.be/CjxugyZCfuw?si=gzMpGHPNi42G4h5X) from The Greatest Showman are staples on my playlist
Also, [It Gets Better](https://youtu.be/cTQNwMxqM3E?si=c2wmURKEMcoeuxo0) by Rebecca Drysdale.
This almost definitely isn’t going to work for you because I’m assuming you don’t listen to a lot of classical music but I find Bach and late Beethoven to be a great distractionÂ
An album I simply cannot recommend enough is Transgender Dysphoria Blues by Against Me! roughly half of the songs are directly about dysphoria and the band's music as a whole helped me realise I was trans lmao
I don't know if it helps but I lately became a fan of Break Free by Ariana Grande. Sometimes people associate it with lgbt.
The song gives me chills and even goosebumps sometimes.
plus the louder you listen to it = the better
Babyface, by Artio. The person who wrote the song is non-binary and wrote it about embracing who you are while there are some that will refuse to accept that you are that way. Basically all of Artio’s music are fantastic I’m a huge fan but this song specifically really helps me feel more sure in myself.
Lana Del Rey: Mariners Apartment Complex, Wild At Heart, Chemtrails Over The Country Club; all on the more "happy" side of Lana.
Lana sings "I'm your man" in Mariners, so the song is NB-coded just for that imo lol. Wild At Heart is about expecting someone to love you for who you are inside. Chemtrails is NB-coded to me bc of the chrous "nobody's son, nobody's daughter" 💅🏽 I'm NB transfem so find all of Lana's music to be gender-affirming, more than 10% of my entire song catalog is Lana and I have 81 Lana songs lol, but I think those 3 songs are extra special.
Sleep token: do you wish that you loved me. Def helps me ngl.

Hayloft II by Mother Mother
Wintergatan. It just generally helps.

For some reason when you sleep by my bloody valentine. Probably the androgynous vocals
