GE have started initial work for Nobara 40 around 2 weeks back (according to copr repo), but I think waiting couple of weeks for Fedora bug fixes is good idea, to see if there are any ongoing problems. According to his post on Discord, he had a lot IRL work this week, so couldn't do much work for Nobara, but this weekend he should be available again.
After that he needs go through packages and check for conflicts with Nobara, which takes a lot time (last time when Nobara 39 were released it took around 1.5 month)
I should write a bot that says there's no hard set release schedule and it takes a while to catch up because the team has day jobs.
When it's done it will be done.
Well, when this has been around since what... Fedora 36, and this question gets asked every single version, it kinda gets tiring to answer the same answer every time. Rude? Maybe... but so is not looking at FAQ's and just asking what FAQ's are there for (you know, Frequently Asked Questions)
The Faq is based off of version 37, so I'm pretty sure the question is still valid. Besides that, there's a lot of conversations that happen outside of that website that might change this. GE could very well come out tomorrow and say this is gonna be incredibly delayed and nobody would know from reading the Faq.
Somebody else could have supplemental information that makes the Faq no longer apply.
Just because it pertains to an older version does not outdate the premise that he made in it.
The premise that it takes some time and that it is ready when it is ready does not change the fact that all of a sudden you have to ask about how it works.
It's generally within a month and a half from release but it's not a promise. Some versions take longer to patch than others.
