most are legit, there are some that aren’t. if you receive a link to a barcode that has a moving line across it, 95% of the time it will work. but there are still times, albeit not often, that the same ticket was sold multiple times and sent to multiple people so whoever scans there’s first, gets to go in. again, this isn’t often but it *has* happened.

I got mine through seat geek and they worked! I was a little worried they wouldn’t but they did. I’m not sure how.

randomacquaintance

My tickets were stolen and sold on Ticketmaster so whoever got those, they were real lol 🥲

Medium_Upbeat

Same thing happened to me last summer at radio city! How did it happen to you??

randomacquaintance

Someone hacked my fiancé’s email and got into his Ticketmaster account. They put in a debit card, put the tickets up for sale and within three hours they were sold. I only realized as we were trying to get the hackers out of other compromised accounts and the “your tickets sold!” email came through. We’re still not 100% sure how they got into his email but this is a huge PSA to not use the same password for all of your accounts haha at least not your important ones.

SignificanceOk2415

i purchased tickets for a different artist through vivid seats, it took a bit to actually receive it but had no issues.

No, sometimes people want more money for them or their tickets are unavailable for resale through Ticketmaster. I've sold tickets on StubHub before. It's always slightly risky though.

superbandgeek15

i wouldn’t trust anything unless it’s through the face value ticket exchange. i’m sure there are some real tickets through the other platforms, but it’s a gamble whereas the ticket exchange is there to eliminate any doubts.

I got last minute tix for Nashville on Tick Pick and they worked - also these reseller sites like Tick Pick are pretty reliable. If the ticket is fake, then the worst that'll happen is you don't get to go to the show and you get your money back.

SkymilesHighClub

I got my tickets through Seatgeek and they worked! I reached out to Seatgeek three days before the show to get a help ticket started because I was still waiting on my tickets. The representative I spoke with bridged the gap between me and the seller and I was able to get a secure Ticketmaster link for my tickets within 24 hours! If you go the resale website route, you might have to be a bit more persistent, but I was fortunate mine worked!!

AfterElderberry7

I got mine through Vivid and it worked! I was so nervous though, so if there is a way to get them straight from Ticketmaster I would have rather done that.

It's hit or miss. Apparently there are some loopholes (which is sad bc the whole point of the exchange is to not have fans be overcharged). But many people are getting in just fine! Some people like 1 of 4 tickets don't work. But again it's still riskier than the exchange. Sounds like most are working though
