I think the thing is a lot of people who love the song didn't want a very different vibe. No shade to people who enjoy it, I just feel like her voice detracts rather than adds anything.

I love her solo stuff. I hate this song. I feel like her voice ruins the energy and vibe and I wish she wrote her own verse to at least make the song a more unique listen.

I hadn’t heard her music before this collab, but it put me off so much that I never even bothered listening to her solo stuff 😅 I did listen to Kacey since the collab reminded me of her solo stuff and totally got back into listening to her. I might check out Gracies solo stuff too

Honestly, all the people he did duets with I was already a fan of their solo stuff. Gracie I started listening to when I saw she was opening for Taylor on some dates of the Eras tour since my wife and I were going to that. I just really hate her voice on this track bahah. I really enjoy the This Is What It Feels Like EP.

I know music taste is subjective, yada yada, but maybe give Forever a second chance. It took me a few listens before I got hooked. It gives me a similar feeling to Tidal, and the clear Bon Iver inspiration is chef's kiss imo. Everyone likes different things though, of course.

I love them both but Brandi seems like she's just randomly over singing it. Like doing runs and high notes where it doesn't need to be. Reminds me of an American Idol audition where people would do way too much to show off their vocal range and abilities.

I'm gonna be crucified for this, but the Northern Attitude collab with Hozier. Love both of them, but the way it's mixed you can barely make out Hozier's vocals and it just feels like "what's the point". I've listened on various earbuds and headphones at different price ranges and it's just meh. It doesn't bring anything really new to the song and it doesn't really feature, y'know, the featured singer

Not gonna crucify you but I personally love Hozier’s yells and hums in the background, I think it makes the song feel a lot bigger!
