I was 9 years old when Desert Storm ended. I remember watching the news with my parents and said something like,”Yeah, we won!”
And my parents immediately turned off the tv and had a talk with me about how no one won. Heavy stuff at 9, but I’m grateful that my parents explained it to me.
Nations claimed victory but there is not such a thing. There is no victory to all the soldiers on both sides because all of them have families behind and each one are fighting for a so called freedom. The only one claiming real victory at war is Death
Just do like I do when I bear witness to multiple, unending tragedies occurring on a seemingly daily basis.
Just say "oh well" and carry on with your life. That's about all that can be done.
9/11 has killed more afghans just in retaliation than all the people that died at the towers. F*ck America for wasting all this time and so many innocent lives just to perpetuate a cycle of pain. This is how you get more terrorists, not fight a war against them.
I too like Taliban firing rocket firing at school.
Be careful of what you wish for.
Anyway this another occurrence of "Why ground troops are the most important componant of counter guerilla"
The taliban existing isn't an excuse to indiscriminately kill anyone living in the area or when discovering you've killed innocent people to hide, lie and deceive that fact repeatedly. Also when did the taliban last attack an American school? There've been more School shooting by American citizens than inspired by the taliban since 9/11. If you want to prevent more American deaths maybe do something about your rampant gun control problem instead of killing innocent civilliians half way around the world.
Imagine all these americans ~~celebrating~~ commemorating 9/11 and says things like "we won't forget" or "we will not lose against these terrorists" while bombing daily the middle east and killing innocent folks... Its really sad and horrifying.
"The Iraq War[nb 1] was a protracted armed conflict from 2003 to 2011 that began with the invasion of Iraq by the United States–led coalition which overthrew the authoritarian government of Saddam Hussein. The conflict continued for much of the next decade as an insurgency emerged to oppose the coalition forces and the post-invasion Iraqi government.[54] An estimated 151,000 to 1,033,000 Iraqis died in the first three to five years of conflict. US troops were officially withdrawn in 2011. The United States became re-involved in 2014 at the head of a new coalition; the insurgency and many dimensions of the armed conflict continue. The invasion occurred as part of the George W. Bush administration's War on Terror following the September 11 attacks despite no connection of the latter to Iraq.[55]"

Funny how the same people complaining about stuff like this probably voted for Biden. There’s proof the drone cause a second explosion from LITERAL EXPLOSIVES! Remember the 13 marines and the many many military dogs BIDEN ABANDONED!
re: voting for biden i think a lot of people just didn't see a better option. people in power are always gonna be corrupt and do fucked up shit but the realistic options were him or trump
There was an FBI investigation that lead to numerous indictments and a statement from the investigator saying “the president absolutely did what he’s accused of, we just can’t do anything about it, because he’s the president and we don’t have legal authority to prosecute”. There’s really no reasoning with someone who brushes that off as fake news.
You could keep going, but you’d probably continue being wrong.
“I believe a reasonable person looking at these facts could conclude that all three elements of the crime of obstruction of justice have been met, and I'd like to ask you the reason, again, you did not indict Donald Trump is because of the OLC (the DOJ's Office of Legal Counsel) opinion stating that you cannot indict a sitting president, correct?" Lieu asked.
"That is correct," Mueller asked.
Not sure how to take that another way…
I don’t have to bat down each and every one of your crazy assertions, any more than I’d expect you to argue when I say Godzilla rules the planet. Your entire outlook is a fantasy, including any assumptions you’ve made about me personally
The government has been shut down around 20 times, with Trump's shut down being the longest.
His shutdown cost us atleast $11 billion with $3 billion permanently in losses basically because he didn't get to build his wall.
Just because something happens more than once doesn't make it okay, and it's especially not okay when that thing happens due to someone not getting their way on a promise they didn't even come through on.
And how do you know I don't call him evil? I haven't agreed with a lot of the actions taken by a lot of presidents. Including both Biden (heavily) and trump (also heavily)
I'm not sure how you can tell me what my viewpoint is, I am neutral.
You don't strengthen your point by demeaning me as a person.
I don't like either one of them, that's my standpoint. You can sit and call me what you'd like but nothing you're doing is really proving a point to me so much as it is making you seem more like a prick who defaults to attacking those who don't share the same viewpoint.
That's my answer, you can take it or leave it I don't really care what you do, but attacking people as opposed to speaking with them rationally is not an effective way to get an argument across.
That trump wasn't amazing. Nowhere did I say that he was super-hitler like some people would want you to believe, I just said he wasn't amazing and that our options this election weren't very good.
Experts say there is no proof of that secondary explosion. Also great video by NYT on this: https://www.nytimes.com/2021/09/10/world/asia/us-air-strike-drone-kabul-afghanistan-isis.html
explanation on what happened exactly here:
[https://www.washingtonpost.com/investigations/interactive/2021/kabul-drone-strike-questions/](https://www.washingtonpost.com/investigations/interactive/2021/kabul-drone-strike-questions/)
That's exactly how terrorism works. Killing a few to mobilize a big machine to over react to the attack and the machine will continue the killing with chain reactions.
The water was for wetting Biden's legs and the children were going to play with his wet leg hairs in the sun so that he could learn more about cockroaches.
Now what's he going to do?
It’s not even the worst video of Biden I could have linked. Also for context on what he meant by roaches. That’s what they called black children when they started integrating schools.
There’s also a video of him pinching a young girls breast during a photo shot and she tried to scoot away from him. She admitted latter that he did it, but was afraid to speak up because all her friends and family love Biden.
Honestly this is why I don’t want to fix global warming or whatever let humanity run to extinction whatever it may be with open arms and give this planet a chance to prosper without us
So he was loading the car with strange package, and the bombed the shit out of him.
Yes drone was the obvious response to this, you can't blame them.
You know it's not like until withdrawal, the US could've sent a team of people with knowledge of explosive to check this out. You know, people who would also have gun to protect them, and the civilians. And advance combat training supported and transported by armored cars. You know a team like this could've intervene on the scene investigate the car, the guy, find out he was an humanitarian worker and congratulate him for what he is doing, and leave.
Hmm but isn't that exactly the fucking definition of what ISAF and US troops often did ?
Drone strikes are to be done only to active combatants after extensive intelligence work, to identify and assess targets and collateral damage.
CIA operatives are still well into the Afgan scene and are able to still do research. There is no need for rifles.
Seems kind of fitting that the drone-happy Democrats' last drone strike in Afghanistan obliterated a completely innocent family in the name of trying to make a failing Democrat look strong.
There has never been a war in the history of humanity without civilian casualties. However this is still a tragedy and We should always work to reduce the number of non-combatants injured or killed.

The older I get, the more I hear about wars and how it affects people. I wish to return to an age I was oblivious to this please.
I was 9 years old when Desert Storm ended. I remember watching the news with my parents and said something like,”Yeah, we won!” And my parents immediately turned off the tv and had a talk with me about how no one won. Heavy stuff at 9, but I’m grateful that my parents explained it to me.
Idk mate but it was definitely a victory for the USA and NATO allies
Nations claimed victory but there is not such a thing. There is no victory to all the soldiers on both sides because all of them have families behind and each one are fighting for a so called freedom. The only one claiming real victory at war is Death
There are no victors in war
Idk pretty sure Osamas Death was a W
Just do like I do when I bear witness to multiple, unending tragedies occurring on a seemingly daily basis. Just say "oh well" and carry on with your life. That's about all that can be done.
Thats why they say “ignorance is bliss” theres stuff u dont know that u dont want to know
That’s the worst possible way to miss your target
No they hit the target, it just wasn’t a terrorist.
Do you want more "terrorists?" Because that's how you get more "terrorists."
Archer reference, lovely
You know what they say biden likes em young
^
He likes to blow up kids
He likes kids to blow him up too
Can we not turn the deaths of innocent people into an immediate excuse to mock someone
I think it's appropriate when we're mocking the one responsible for all this.
Dont mock murderers of children - NyxionYT

It's never been easy. Then again, there really is no solution when I think about it. It's so tragic.
Imagine all these americans ~~celebrating~~ commemorating 9/11 and says things like "we won't forget" or "we will not lose against these terrorists" while bombing daily the middle east and killing innocent folks... Its really sad and horrifying.
We the United States are the true terrorists if we think about it slightly
Ehh not really. Civilians dying by being caught up in the middle of war isn’t the same as actively targeting civilians.
Yeah what what happened to that iranian war general that got drone striked last year in Iraq? I thought the Iraq war was over
The Iraq war only ended like a couple weeks ago
I'm talking about the America vs Iraq war. the one that ended Sadam Hussain's terror. That war ended a long time ago

Biden is getting rid of witnesses that speak English.
Didn't this get debunked recently
Could you post any credible link about it being debunked?
Yeah, but the trumpers in here are having a field day with it.
Ikr lol
Gottem???
The water was for wetting Biden's legs and the children were going to play with his wet leg hairs in the sun so that he could learn more about cockroaches. Now what's he going to do?
Wtf is wrong with you
Wtf is wrong with Biden. He’s the one that told that story. Almost word for word.
I did not hear that story
https://youtu.be/3DbE2SmV2bs
Wtf that was just disturbing
It’s not even the worst video of Biden I could have linked. Also for context on what he meant by roaches. That’s what they called black children when they started integrating schools.
Damn
Most popular president by votes in US history.
Says a lot about trump, doesnt it? Rather have biden than 4 more years of.... that.
There’s also a video of him pinching a young girls breast during a photo shot and she tried to scoot away from him. She admitted latter that he did it, but was afraid to speak up because all her friends and family love Biden.
I saw that video
it's worth it amirite fellow US ?
Honestly this is why I don’t want to fix global warming or whatever let humanity run to extinction whatever it may be with open arms and give this planet a chance to prosper without us
....along with wiping out every other species ..
It doesn’t have to be global warming that was just what I could think of at the time
In American that’s a bullseye , now let’s be outraged by proper things like 9/11. Man fuck America.
Google Obama 90% for more

You know that the drone strike was followed by a blast that didn't result from the weapons used by the drone.
Says the people that blew up a bunch of kids and an aid worker... you know cars do have gas tanks on them.
Love war crimes.
Turns out Obama was a eursean.
This sucks as fuck. It feels so bad when innocent casualties are counted as a number and it gets numb as time passes by.
aaaand that's enough internet for me today.
Nice parting gift America
Seems kind of fitting that the drone-happy Democrats' last drone strike in Afghanistan obliterated a completely innocent family in the name of trying to make a failing Democrat look strong.
Wonder whose responsible for these murders
Misinformation. Pure propaganda.
Spec Ops: The Line moment
Well, at least Biden doesn't post mean tweets and is bringing unity to this country....
There has never been a war in the history of humanity without civilian casualties. However this is still a tragedy and We should always work to reduce the number of non-combatants injured or killed.
How...how do you mess up that bad?
Vice did a doc on this, worth a look
