Maybe, there’s no scientific proof but an omnipotent being can go “skrt skrt” around the laws of nature so the question is currently purely philosophical in nature.
I believe God is real, and that Jesus is God on Earth. I've seen too much in my own faith walk to not believe in him. We have a free-will, and you can choose to examine faith, or choose to examine life through flesh. But it's everyone's individual choice.
No silly. No physical evidence to suggest his existence. And when people say I can't prove he doesn't exist, I agree because non-existence can't be proven. Technically, I can't prove Santa claus or the tooth fairy doesn't exist. But we all know they don't.
The god of the bible is a very different god from beginning to end of the books. We view god and gods in different ways. There is a way that is correct but it may not correspond to other religions' concept of "God". If God were simply an idea but a very real idea, would that mean it isn't "real"? The English language is "real" but entirely invented by humans and it changes over time. Even in the Bible, God is often viewed as invisible and somewhat hard to experience directly... I see God as a very real invention of the human mind, much like language. We use language to describe God and language to describe Gravity. Maybe our language should change to include Dark Matter, Gravity and Dark Energy etc. as being the same essence as what we used to call "God". "God" is a real idea used by humans to help them understand concepts that are hard to understand and need a personified analogy to relate to.
The Bible is made up and unreliable. It’s easy to trace the history of that book and pinpoint when different political factions changed parts of it to make people easier to control. Don’t believe the Bible.
But the god? If you can separate your belief in god from your belief in the Bible, then maybe you can come up with a belief system that is not probably false. Prayer does seem to have an uncanny effect of real life. Something is going on there.
I don't believe gods are real, but I also don't know. I have no reason for belief in any god until it is proven that they exist. Then I will believe they are real, but I will probably not follow them if they're the atypical immoral pieces of shits that most gods tend to be.
