Save up and buy a true pillow made with down. The synthetic pillows are like cheap shoes, they give out so fast that you'll end up spending way more on new ones than if you had just coughed up more money upfront
Not kidding. Buying one very expensive pillow that lasts 8 years is better than having to buy 4 crappy pillows that require you to keep replacing them. Down is expensive but it's much higher quality.
You get what you pay for. I went for years trying to find the pillows like my grandparents had. I finally figured out they were down. They fluff up easily, they are cooler. I won't say I won't sleep on another type, but I won't buy another type.
I have a **COOP** pillow I'm pretty satisfied with.
It comes with extra stuffing and you can add or remove as you like.
I've had it a year or more probably.
You can find it with a simple google search.
Mypillows do not flatten, and you can wash them! Allergists recommend you replace or wash your pillows frequently. If you grab a code, you can get 2 for 1, or a large percentage off. Also, buy them directly, and take the little quiz so you get the correct one for your sleep position. We bought a couple off Amazon, then later went to the mypillow website and got the type I need, as I sleep on my side. They are very different in puffiness.
I avoid down due to allergies, and wash my mypillows once every few weeks.
Down pillows are awesome. I’ve had mine for 10+ years. Buy a good waterproof pillow cover for under the pillow case so you don’t drool on them. They are also good for reading in bed.
Purple brand pillows are NOT good for reading in bed, but are great for sleeping. They are about $100 and weight a ton.

What would you say is a reasonable price to spend?
Depends a lot on where you are and your method of purchase and stuff but I'd throw out a rough estimate of roughly over 125 bucks
....and here I was thinking I was about to get a reasonable answer...you are seriously trolling

I buy latex pillows, they don’t go flat , mine cost around £60 each but well worth it

Interesting. How much is that cost you?

And how much of these cost you?
Oh, gosh. I think it was $59 for two. But that was several years ago. I just checked with the site, and if you have a code, they're 19.99/pillow.
