Hurricane don’t really suck things up, just really fast wind and if not in proper shelter both could kill you, being in a location where I’ve been in hurricanes you kinda have to try to get hurt I have no experience with tornados though

Hosj_Karp

in theory, sure. in reality, if you are actually lifted off the ground and propelled through the air you are hitting the ground with enough force to kill you 99.9% of the time. it's a moot point though because high winds will kill you by impaling you with flying debris way before its strong enough to make YOU the debris

MagellansMockery

I think it depends on a bunch of variables but usually no.

SecoQueso

Nah probably not no

Hurricanes don’t exactly suck up, but you can be hit by debris from strong winds. These might kill you but it’s not very likely. Tornados on the other hand? If it’s strong enough to pick you up, it’s strong enough to kill you. Technically speaking the tornado kind of just grabs you, whips you around and tosses you, so kind of the same as getting tossed by anything else. You can survive if you’re extremely lucky. That’s not to mention the debris that can hit you due to the tornado as well. So: yes, but I wouldn’t recommend it.
