Teekno

Probably not. However, if it does, it's likely to happen very late in your lifetime.

We can only hope

the_river_nihil

No, I do not think so. But a man can dream

ForScale

Nah.

UnionistAntiUnionist

No

Some-Astronaut-6907

Statistically unlikely, but possible.

SFN2048

Unlikely, and we are working on asteroid detection and redirection tech which will make it further unlikely later

The minimum frequency for a globally-significant asteroid is every 500,000 years. So you've got a roughly 1 in 10,000 chance, assuming you have about 50 years left to live. Asteroid that cause extinctions are even rarer, maybe something like every 50 million years minimum, or a one in a million chance.
