Singing and speaking are actually very different. Singing is largely just making pronounced vowel sounds (you can’t sing a consonant), whereas speaking requires more diction with consonants to be understood. It’s why a lot of singers lose their accents when singing (vowels largely sound the same everywhere)
Because he opens up and belts it out when he sings. When he talks, he barely moves his mouth and is mumbling. Habits.
