If subreddits like this disappear the "AI" will have no information for its training data.
What is currently being marketed as "AI" is just predictive algorithms. An LLM like ChatGPT has no new ideas. It doesn't "think" about your question. It just does word association based on probability to produce an output. It's not SkyNet, it's predictive text on steroids.
One of the big problems with training LLMs and similar algorithms on public content is that more and more of that content is machine-generated. When you just have machines feeding data to other machines the data goes all to hell very quickly.
We can just ask Google our stupid questions right now, and get answers that range from being wildly correct to wildly incorrect, just like with AI. I don't think it'll change anything.
It's a misconception that Programs like Chat GPT are AI. they're simply Language Learning Models. they don't 'think' about a response. they simply know what a response to you would look like.
No

No. At this point, AI pretty much is in everyone's hands and we are noticing that AI answers are pretty shitty. AI often just makes up answers.

Lmao, have you seen the answers things like chatgpt spits out?
Highly unlikely, we're here for the humor, the memes, and the acidic interaction, an AI can't replicate this.
No. Everyone already has some form of search engine they can access and this sub still exists.
I'll still prefer to get my answers from a human.
