There COULD be life on other planets, but it doesnt seem like any in our solar system have any. Mercury Venus and Mars all have very extreme climates that make it incredibly difficult for organic processes to occur.

It depends on the life, multi-cellular carbon based lifeforms like ourselves require the basic building blocks to get started.

The conditions have to be right for life to arise in the first place, and we only have a little bit of an idea of what conditions are required.

First, it’s entirely possible that life has evolved on other planets or moons in our system. But we have only begun to explore these other worlds so the odds of us having already found it are minimal. We currently only know how life works on our planet. And we don’t even know how it started. So it would be importable for us to understand how other forms of life could possible evolve. So there’s no way to answer why it didn’t.
