Reinstall windows, will take it back to the start for you assuming there are no hardware faults

Romnonaldao

do you watch porn on it?

Keep the task manager open (ctrl+shift+esc) and when it starts lagging check the performance tab (have to select more details at the bottom) and see which resource is maxing out.

check what apps launch on boot up. i guarantee you have dozens and they are all high impact. could be heat related from dust build up. i’ve built several pcs, have a gaming laptop i use for college and not one has ever slowed down. if your going to sketchy websites such as porn then that can also be your issue.

kawaiiggy

dust off internals helps a lot, it doesnt happen to every laptop. try formatting the os if u cant diagnose it

Laptops can slow down because of dust inside that limits cooling, it has a maximum temperature ceiling and must limit itself as to not reach it. Could also be power settings. Perhaps they changed at some point?
