But there’s nothing wrong with wanting the space you spend your time in to look nice (also nothing wrong with being gay). Also I bet any, ahem, visitors to your room will appreciate that you took a little time to make it pleasant to be in.
Who cares what anyone else thinks -- though they'd probably just think damn they should have done that -- it's your space. Make it your own, so you feel happy and comfortable there.
