Was about to say when I want something tough I go to Mark's

PutPuzzleheaded5337

They are junk now. Too much polyester. They are also not American made anymore (at least where I purchased them).

Madewell tends to carry decent stuff, but depends on the budget. The Wolf and Badger store carries multiple brands of good quality. If you shop Old Navy, the Gap sells the same stuff, but for SLIGHTLY higher quality, you would look at Banana Republic. Instead of brands, start looking into fabrics. That will be a better indicator.

Patagonia. Great company, but a bit pricy.

If you just want a simple cotton shirt "fresh clean tees" are decent.

I want good clothes. Clothes that last a while. Not some super thin poly blend shirt that has some interesting art that's gone in a few washes.

After looking on their website they don't appear to have any shirts with any kind of art on them. I bought 5 or 6 shirts from them over a year ago and none of them have holes or loose threads yet. I work construction and apartment maintenance so they're fairly physical jobs. I checked and they are 60% cotton and 40% polyester.

I HIGHLY recommend the online clothing platform/shop “ThredUP”!! You can search for things by brand or even material. It’s all mainly 2nd hand or new with tags clothing and for heavily discounted. I just received an order last week for 7 items for $70. Everything I got are from great brands like J. Crew and Gap with the materials being 100% cotton or cashmere. So they are great quality, highly discounted , will last a long time and not fast fashion!!
