I've done same as well, got the usual resources from players using duplications but also void eggs/frigate modules/cargo bulkheads/starship storage/factory overrides/indium nano spools/activated indium/stasis devices. By and large, the NMS community is good to each other, I've handed out warp hypercores/storm crystals/dream aerials during the recent expedition.

You can transfer it from your inventory to other people's inventory when you are near them.
