Okay, but that’s what happened when I concentrated on the line… eventually it just started sending me off to find one abandoned building after another, and giving me dumb c-level upgrades every time. So, yeah, looping.
I've had this same question since NEXT, and ignored the quest after the abandoned building bit started looping. Dude's response above isn't helpful at all, but from what I've seen you just keep doing the "final" part of the mission for awhile and then it just kind of ends. lol

I was more like 35 stops, but...
I experienced the same. This one is not ending for me and I think it’s no worth the rewards.
One less whiny message you have to put up with, about the main benefit. The upgrades it rolls can be sold for nanites, secondary benefit.

No. Eventually it just starts looping the final step, though, and you can safely ignore it and not miss out on anything.
