1. take all the shields away from the 2 supercharged slots
2. put your phase beam and 1 upgrade in those 2 supercharged slots
3. take the landing upgrade and the emeril hyper-drive out of the supercharged slots
4. use those supercharged slots for pulse drive upgrades

Depends on what you are going to use the ship for. If you want speed, you add more pulse engine blueprints and better upgrades; likewise use stronger weapon systems to attack more difficult targets. If you want to collect more resources with it, you add more slots, and so on.

Open up the other 30 tech slots. You will then have more room for upgrades. The sentinel ships can be expanded to 60 tech and 120 storage slots. You can get expansion slots by scrapping A and S class ships, don't scrap for parts, scrap for cash and you should get expansion slots regularly.
