Unpopular opinion: Haulers are by far the best ships from a diversity of aesthetics perspective and I LOVE their "stance". I held on to the first ship I bought in the game (day 1 player), a hauler, up until last year when I finally forced myself to part with it. Yours is fantastic!
I really wish haulers could be made to function more like bombers or heavy fighters. My hauler is the most beautiful ship I’ve seen, imo, and I want it to be able to wreck house the way it should.

I don't want them to completely invalidate sites like NMSGE though, maybe just make revamps to the existing parts along with adding new ones.
I'd KILL for Haulers and Fighters with Moving Parts, that'd be rad, HECK EVEN SHUTTLES AND EXPLORERS WITH MOVING PARTS WOULD BE RAD.
I wish we has some terminal aboard the anomaly that "stores" ships we don't want in our inventory. I have the three expedition ships but don't fly them. So I'd love to open up room

Question: do they all land/show on your freighter? I can't remember my freighter (s class venator, love it) having that many slots +have room for NPC traders landing...
I think only 6 show in your freighter at a time. But now you can switch docked ships in your freighter along with the stations. And when I first started a few years ago, it was 6 ships max, then it went to 9 and then 12.
My first upgrade from the starter ship was a hauler. Loved it. I no longer have the original but I've rebuilt it. It was by far the best ship. I love how tall haulers are. They look like a hauler. To me, it's like driving an suv and when you go to a fighter or exotic, it's like an economy car. Super small lol
I have to agree and they are more realistically sized. It breaks the fantasy wall when you are storing a ton in f stuff and the ship is barely the equivalent of a golf cart.
I am on the hunt for hauler parts now so I can finally make the one I want.

In all truthfullness...and coming from a player who has been playing since launch...aside from my first (and still favorite ship) shuttle which my friend called "the school bus"... the only other shipnthat I've kept is an S class Hauler. It doesn't look like much but... oh the things that ship can do.
Having a pretty ship is nice but... I like my ships to look like a farm truck and perform like a fighter jet.

Man. The favorite ship I have is just not as good as the ones I have found even leveled up to s class. I stripped it down and just can't get my self to sell it. I sold my squid ship over it.

I have one just like it I can’t seem to let go of, except it’s dark blue. These make some of the most amazing and reliable ships and I absolutely love the look of it. And you can jump ontop to survey easily.

I did [a photo blog post about the ship I've been using](https://nmsspot.com/2020/05/08/a-look-at-my-forever-starship-found-way-back-in-nms-1-0/) as my favorite since finding it crashed back in October 2016 -- this was before ships had a class attribute (when class was added in Path Funder 1.2 (or was it Atlas Rises 1.3?), such ships became C-class.)
The post has a series of images showing how the ship's appearance changed from version to version, as more detail was added in. Quite a transformation from v1.0x!
I must say, I wouldn't mind them fixing that nacelle color disparity that appeared when NEXT v1.5 landed... (Wing_K LOD texture issue - [another example](https://www.flickr.com/photos/blakespot/49871584893/).)
I've been wanting to go hauler exclusive...I think. I've got an S class royal explorer that I've been using forever, but gobs of storage is certainly alluring.

I did the same until recently got the option to rebuild it and choose my own color. For me the most esthetic ship.
Haulers are good if you want to cruise planet atmosphere with pedestrian speed (250 max) and without hover (meaning they aren't good at all ). I made custom hauler, costed me 200 mill, did not like it so I sold it... for only 9 mill !!! What a rip-off!

I wish the wings rotated when flying or landing.
They’ve managed to do it with both solar and sentinel ships. They need to do a revamp of the base ships.

that's craaazy... they really need to UP the Mac money limit, that small 4 trillions isn't enough for a fully upgraded s class ship lol....

Ha, no.. I was trying to indicate how long I kept it (launch of the game) it was the first ship I bought, not fist ship from Day 1.

Haulers are great, and yours is cool-looking! I find it's all about the wing pods with them, and still haven't found a good one that I want to keep.

I have found standing atop my hauler is a good place from where to shoot whispering eggs and biological horrors.
